This is a lovely inn and will be perfect once the turmoil of the construction is done. The rooms are very nice, save the fact that outlets for devices are difficult and few. Parking was a bit tricky due to construction. Access to the beach was closed.

We stayed on the second floor. The overview of the beach is great! The room is dated but clean and had everything that we needed. The bed was comfortable but it could have been better. We stayed three nights. I thought that the staff management could have had things in the rooms that would have promoted their facilities better. There was no menus available for the Shilo cafe or the nice restaurant on site. When I asked at the front desk for the menus, they replied that they didn't have any. We would have ordered room service but didn't. The Shilo restaurant has spectacular window seating and our food was great.

Just spent the weekend at Nye Beach Condos at Pacific Crest. The room was very pleasing with an incredible view. I loved the simplicity of the decor. Access to the beach was easy, just down a couple of flights of stairs. There were shops, cafes, and pubs all with in walking distance. The main street of Newport (Hwy. 101) was easy to traverse to by car. The price was very adequate for the quality of the room. My only complaint was the internet connection was poor. They are renovating the main hotel at this time, so maybe that will improve. I would definitely go back.

We stayed 2 nights. When we first arrived we were kinda bummed because we thought it would have an ocean view but we got over it cause we didn't spend much time in our room anyway. The lady that checked us in was really sweet and made sure we were near both the pool and breakfast area which made the kids happy. Our room had a slight sulfur smell when we got there, but it went away after we opened the window for a few minutes. The breakfast in the morning was perfect to get us going on our day! Overall I would say it was a pretty good little hotel.

We were given a "pet friendly" room even though we didn't bring a pet. Our room looked over the edge of another hotel that had bright lights on their roof all night. Our room needed to be updated and appliances were falling apart. The lock on our door fell apart. I enjoyed having a gas fireplace and it was fairly quiet. Our first nice had decent weather and a beautiful sunset, but opening the back door filled the room with the smell of someone smoking pot nearby. It was inconvenient to be so far from the pool with my two little girls. The title of resort is misleading...it's a motel with beachfront access. Just an okay experience. They definitely need to update this establishment.

Enjoyed our visit to Newport. Great location with terrific view from our room. Staff was very nice, however we did not receive housekeeping. It was overlooked and may have been do to the staff being short handed. We noted dept. managers doubled in the restaurant at the evening meal. Mike at the front desk is fantastic. Will return for another visit in the future.
