Room was old, un renovated, dusty, floor boards had big gaps/holes. Tile cracking on sink, blinds old, furniture old. Room wasn't serviced unless called for. Common areas were ok but dirt, trash, leaves, etc. There was a strand of dental floss and a staple on the main staircase the entire 4 days we were there. Staff was pleasant but not super friendly. Parking charges for valet were too expensive. Room rates were too high for mediocre place.

Beautiful hotel. We felt spoiled. It was our 35th anniversary so we decided to stay somewhere a bit nicer than we usually do.
Because it was so busy sometimes we had to wait a bit for the valet to get our car, but it was never too long.
We would stay there again!

We stayed in room 6 which was nice and quiet. We read reviews for other rooms which may be louder as they face the beach/sidewalk. Thee only down side was the stairs at the entry to the room which were a cause of concern for our two year old who was constantly viewing them as a source of entertainment and fell down once. Perfect place for a couple to stay in, nice, romantic but not the best for small children.
