Staff extremely friendly, especially Nicola and Siobhan and not forgetting Tommy the nightporter who is just a gentleman. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
Easy to find and lovely view from room which was very comfortable with modern en suite facilities. Staff were very welcoming and very good service in the restaurant.
A lovely boutique hotel with unique furnishings.
Very welcoming and helpful staff
Room was lovely- a great size, very hot so could do with some air conditioning in the warmer months.
Breakfast was excellent with a good selection.
Would definitely recommend and hope to return again soon
Probably the cleanest room I’ve stayed in.great view over the beach and sea front. The only negative would be the lighting in the en-suite it could have been brighter
Very clean and cozy little room. Very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the restaurant. Very friendly staff. It was our favorite place that we stayed on our 10 day stay.
The property is located right on the main street and therefore was a bit loud. The room was quite warm and with the windows open, the next door live music from The Wild Hare charmed us well into the early hours of the morning. Some might not like that "vibe". The staff was excellent. We were on our own when it came to parking and had to park almost a mile away from the property and get creative in managing bags to the room.
I stayed at Avoca with my elderly (81) mum, sister and adult daughter. We had the superior family room with lovely decor, comfy beds and good pillows.
The staff were lovely - very pleasant and friendly. We had breakfast one morning and it was good.
The only downside to this property which means I probably wouldn't stay again is the live music from the bar until just after 12 midnight at the weekend. Our room was directly above the bar where the band was playing and we felt every drum beat reverberating through our room. No one could consider going to sleep until after midnight.
Stayed here for a birthday celebration amongst friends. The most impressive thing about our stay was the wonderful service from staff, Siobhan on reception was instantly welcoming and helped ensure our stay was enjoyed from start to end. She really is an asset to the place. The room was large and modern with the most beautiful views of the mountains and sea. I found the wild hare bar quaint and authentic, would be nice to hear more traditional music at weekends for international guests to enjoy.
This place is special as it retains character and is somewhere that has a homely vibe. Can't wait to return with friends and family.
Hotel nice, very clean staff very welcoming and friendly only had breakfast but it was nice the room we had was a nice size with beautiful views out over the sea
