Staff was friendly and room was clean. Room had everything that we were promised when booking online. Good choice for us as it was close to Hofstra University and the room we booked was an affordable price. We only stayed one night which was fine, but if you plan on staying here for longer than a day or two - just know that the beds weren't super comfortable. Overall nothing fancy, but a good hotel nonetheless.

I chose the Salisbury as part of a flight/hotel/transfers package. My choice was influenced most by the price and location--within easy walking distance of Times Square, MoMA, Central Park, LincolnCenter, etc. The hotel is mid-century or earlier and has not seen much renovation, but it is in good repair and very clean. My room was a spacious suite on the back side of the hotel. WiFi is available, but not free. (though Starbucks is around the corner) Heat is steam via radiators, so there is little control of the temperature. I found it to be quiet, simple, and comfortable. I am likely to go there again.
