I took my girlfriend to this lovely hotel and we were both amazed by it. The hotel was great and all the facilities. However on the room description online it said we had a garden view, we didn't we had a view of the back of the house and the car park. Definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone!

Stayed at this Hotel for two nights. Staff were friendly, cheerful and very helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We Stayed in one of their 'Stylish' rooms and their is no better descriptive, small - perhaps - but not cramped and very comfortable. We loved the whole feel of the place which had clearly maintained its original character from its previous life. Very comfortable bar with a sumtuous selection of ales and ciders etc. Food and service in the resaurant is nothing short of excellent, nothing was too much trouble at any time. We will definately visit again and would recomend to any one visiting the area. In fact it is now one of only two hotels we have stayed at that we would go simply to for the Hotel. An absolutely delightful stay for my birthday, a big thanks to all at the White Buck and see you next time.

Booked and arrived the same day as a last minute visit. It is in the middle of no where, so do plan your travel first. We arrived, checked in quickly, and was given room 35. This was in their new wing and was very nice. Staff were all friendly in the hotel.
The swimming pool is small and very shallow at one end. Great if you have kids, not so great if you want to swim a few lengths in the morning. Think of it as a relaxing pool than one to complete a work out.
Next door is a pub. Food was average / good for a pub, and the beers are local. On the pricey side, but all staff friendly and attentive.

The New Forest covers 144 square miles of unspoiled heath and woodland where ponies, donkeys, deer and cattle still roam freely. It is best explored by bike or on foot. Beaulieu is home to the National Motor Museum and a stately home of monastic origins. Picture-postcard villages include Burley, Brockenhurst and maritime Buckler's Hard. The area's attractive little 'capital' Lyndhurst is home to the New Forest Museum and Visitor Centre.
