We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Jimesol , it is well run and very clean . The fabric is a little tired but the friendly staff and and location make up for it . Our towels were changed daily and the sheets regularly during our two week stay . It is in town so is not quiet but it didn't disturb us . There is a huge roof terrace with pool and sun beds . We only ate breakfast (buffet style) as we preferred to enjoy Nerjas many tapas bars and restaurants. The reception is manned by English speaking staff 24/7.

Great hotel in a perfection location with amazing staff. Loved the room with all the high tech gadgets. The mini bar where everything is a euro not the usual hotel rip-off. This would be my first choice the next time I am in Nerja👍

On the first couple of days the Breakfast was varied but as the days progressed items were not replaced and choices became disappointing. The Hotel advised us there would be no electricity in the hotel on Sunday.Staff coped exceptionally well. On a positive note the staff were very helpful especially reception.
We booked the first 2 weeks in November but felt the hotel was closing down around us. Weather hot but umbrellas chained up and snack bar closed. Main bar on ground floor not staffed and seemed closed.

We stayed in a 2 bedroomed villa at El Capistrano village complex. The villa had it's own private garden. The balcony from the living room looked out over Nerja to the sea. The lawns, olive and lemon trees, shrubs and flower beds surrounding the villa were beautifully kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The blue bus was handy for getting to and from Nerja's town centre and beach.

East of Malaga and one of the Costa del Sol’s quieter resorts, Nerja attracts a more mature traveller than its brasher neighbours, and sits atop low cliffs dropping down to enclosed beaches such as that of El Salón. The town’s focal point is the Balcón de Europa, a paved headland jutting out into the Mediterranean. The most popular attraction is the Nerja caves, large enough to house a concert hall hosting ballet and orchestra performances.
