We arrived late after graduation and the staff was quick to check us in and friendly. Snack bags were an excellent surprise. The rooms were very clean and well decorated. This had to be the best motel that I've ever stayed in and a good price.

This is an impeccably-restored Victorian house about a half-hour's drive from both College Station and from the Texas Renaissance Festival. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is within walking distance of the Navasota downtown district which is revitalizing and could soon have some interesting dining options.

I've stayed here twice and I'm still in love with the place. It's beautiful in the springtime, quiet. The front desk staff are kind, young, polite, college-aged. The rooms have everything you could need; I could spend weeks living there! The rooms are beautiful and each are unique.
The thing that stands out most is the personal care this hotel puts into their guests. I left my toiletry bags there on accident, and they called me to tell me! They asked for my address to mail the stuff to me. Luckily I was still in town and came back by. Most hotels would--in fact, they do--just throw that stuff away. This was incredible to me.

Navasota, on the Navasota River in southeast Texas, is located approximately 25 miles (40 km) south of Bryan-College Station. In 2005, it was designated by the Texas Legislature as The Blues Capital of Texas, in honor of the late Navasota native and blues musician, Mance Lipscomb. Blues Alley keeps this heritage alive. Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site, the birthplace of Texas independence, is located in nearby Washington.
