A comfortable hotel although furnishings and decor a bit tired. Staff were welcoming and made our stay enjoyable.
The room we had was clean as were all the linens but the room we were allocated was in need of an up grade. TV had 3 channels and was a 1980's box style. Wall paper hanging off the walls and roof of bedroom and the beds had see better days. Wondered if we had been given this room because we booked through Expedia and not directly with the hotel. Breakfast had everything you could want and dinner menu had evening specials so that guests did't suffer from menu fatigue.

Selected blind, this place turned out to be OK for us. The staff were helpful especially in securing our bicycles. We had a pub meal in The Albert which was totally satisfactory, and breakfast was wholesome. This place was OK!

Nice and cosy hotel. I stayed in a single room for two nights. A little small but had everything needed. Staff extremely helpful and breakfast great!
There is a restaurant on site. I didn't try the food as I thought it was a bit pricey.

We toured in Scotland for one week and this was the best places we stayed at. The house was big and decent, with spacious parking lot, friendly staff, sufficient rooms, plenty of facilities, beautiful yards, nice breakfast, super close to lovely beaches and parks, and not far away from downtown Nairne. We were a family of four, so booked a suite with one kind bed at a room, and two single beds at other. The rooms faced the beautiful seashore, and it was very quiet at night. Highly recommend!

The Covenanters Inn is about 350 years old. It is situated in Auldearn, a village with a great deal of history. We walked round the village and visited a few places of historic interest. The inn itself has served many purposes - starting off as a mill and, as recently as forty years ago, part of the bar was a pig barn.
