I have stayed in this hotel a few times now and would recommend it.
We had a slightly unfortunate stay as the window in our room 21 the latch was missing and it rattled all night. We reported it the next morning and as long as it's fixed it will all be fine for another visit.
We ate in the restaurant and were given the incorrect course it was absolutely tiny I complained as soon as it arrived and was given some extra vegetables. When the plates were cleared away it was explained to me that we were given the main course from the taster menu by mistake and we were given the deserts for free. All in all the food was very tasty and would recommend eating there.

Great location, fantastic room and facilities. Welcoming and friendly staff.
It's not a standard B&B - you're not just given a key and shown to your room. David & Rowena welcome you and get to know you, offering helpful suggestions for your stay.
Breakfast is an all round the same table affair but you soon get chatting so any initial awkwardness is soon gone.
Would highly recommend

Nice and cosy hotel. I stayed in a single room for two nights. A little small but had everything needed. Staff extremely helpful and breakfast great!
There is a restaurant on site. I didn't try the food as I thought it was a bit pricey.

The Covenanters Inn is about 350 years old. It is situated in Auldearn, a village with a great deal of history. We walked round the village and visited a few places of historic interest. The inn itself has served many purposes - starting off as a mill and, as recently as forty years ago, part of the bar was a pig barn.

Selected blind, this place turned out to be OK for us. The staff were helpful especially in securing our bicycles. We had a pub meal in The Albert which was totally satisfactory, and breakfast was wholesome. This place was OK!

This is a terrific place. We had already had an amazing string of terrific places for our driving tour of Scotland, and couldn't imagine that anything could be better than what we had already experienced. Our jaws literally dropped when we pulled in to Invernairne. It is very easy to get the updating of a Victorian pile wrong, but Invernairne was perfect in every respect; the high ceilings, the comfortable beds, the warm welcome, and the incredible location with a private path to the beach. We loved everything about it and will enthusiastically recommend both Nairn and Invernairne to any one we come across who is thinking of a trip to Scotland.

The ancient market town of Nairn is now a popular seaside resort on the Moray Firth coast. Visitors can enjoy the long, sandy beach and golfers can delight at the two Championship golf courses, featuring spectacular views. Culbin Sands Nature Reserve is home to idyllic coastal trails, offering an unusual mix of thick forest, salt marshes, and sand bars, stretching approximately 14 km east of Nairn.
