Comfortable stay that was conveniently located. Staff could have better communicated the inconvenience of foreign dignitaries to the area that made the hotel inaccessible at certain times.

"Good location, but very dated and worn."
The hotel is located right next to the Opera House. There are many restaurants in the area. We arrived to be greeted by a broken elevator. Thankfully, we were on the second floor and they delivered our luggage. The hotel has its own parking garage. It is very tight, but convenient. The hotel is very dated. The room was worn and could use an update. The room was tiny with a small narrow tub that made showering awkward. The staff was not very helpful. They were not rude, but gave mono-syllabic answers and seemed not interested in helping us. We arrived at night and asked the concierge for a local place to grab dinner. He told us that everything around is closed and our best bet would be Burger King. We went out and found that most of the restaurants were open. We had a nice dinner. We selected this hotel because of location, parking and air-conditioning. They delivered on all three.

"Great hotel near restaurants and bus line. "
We were upgraded to a beautiful, spacious room. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Also close to the stop for the hop on hop off buses. Enjoyed our stay very much!

"Nice hotel near Liberty Bridge"
We were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel & heartily recommend it. Staff was courteous, helpful & fluent in English. Rooms were not large but bed was comfortable & bathroom & shower were relatively big. As noted in prior reviews, there were individual twin-sized duvets for each of us on a queen-sized bed, but double duvets were available on request. Since we were there only one night, the individual duvets were fine. We took the airport shuttle 200E to metro station Kobanya Kispest then Metro #3 blue line to Kalvin Ter, for equivalent of less than $4 USD each. It was a 5 minute walk toward the Danube & green Liberty Bridge then right turn into a plaza & another short block (after asking directions) to So Utca (street). Breakfast was amazing & there was hot food in the dining area that we didn't see until after taking yogurt & cereal. The concierge helped us locate our river cruise ship which turned out to be near the Liberty Bridge, so location of the hotel was perfect.

"Amazing place"
Sofitel Club was amazing, great food, amazing staff, the room service was not that great since only put shampoo and toilerets the first day for two people I had to call to bring some and it was not the same. Since I was in the Club Sofitel level I had Hermes Products then the new ones were a generic brand of low quality! The rest of the stay and staff were amazing !!!!

"Superb location"
This is in a fantastic location within the castle, not easy to walk the hills to get over to Pest but the no16 gets you as central as you need in 10mins and 16A bus gives you access to a very regular and cheap 24/72 hour passes on the transport system including metro, trams, buses and river taxis. Hotel is 50 m from Jamie's Italian restaurant, and others of course. Overall a great location if you don't want to be part of the stag and hen scene all day and night. The views from Buda are incredible, a beautiful clean city but be wary of the inexperienced on Segways, they were everywhere! Get the hotel to arrange a meet and greet at the airport, about £20 but worth it.

Nagymezo Street is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Nagymezo Street, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Nagymezo Street hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
