We were there with a group of people for a funeral and the staff was amazingly accommodating...getting us rooms together...letting us check out late. They had a great breakfast bar, a nice little bar and a to go menu that made the visit more enjoyable
the room was very clean, very comfortable and very spacious

We spent lots of time in our room since our function was cancelled due to the nor'easter that coincided with our reservation. Having a fireplace, kingsized bed and Jacuzzi in your room during a snow storm made everything warm and cozy. The firewood is right outside. The room is very Yankee New England, which fits in Mystic. A little outdated perhaps, but we really liked our room alot and would go back.
The Harbor House restaurant, which is on the grounds, served us an excellent lunch and breakfast and the service was great.

We were there January 26-28, off season so it was not busy. We had the pool to ourselves. The water was perfect temp. We arrived late and they kept it open an hour longer for us! Room was roomy and clean. Breakfast had lots of variety. If we find the need to stay up that way again, we would stay here again.

A reminder of the town’s maritime history sits along the Mystic River: the Mystic Seaport, a recreated 19th-century seafaring village with whaling and tall ships and a working shipyard. At the Mystic Aquarium visitors can interact with penguins, Beluga whales, and other sea animals. The Olde Mistick Village, a replica 18th-century New England village, is filled with specialty shops and restaurants.
