Large room. Clean but damp smell. Good staff. They called us for a necklace of beads we had forgotten.
Convenient & pretty location.
Breakfast room was tiny. But breakfast was apparently alright.
Otherwise all facilities are what u get at an Econolodge. Nothing better.
With all that, my only bone is that I had to pay $200 for an Econolodge.

Renovation Staffing was Stressed/overworked??

"Beautiful mansion. Close to everything we needed."
We came on a friday afternoon. We were allowed to check in early. There was a bottle of wine that was complimentary. Wonderful jacuzzi tub. The staff was speedy about getting us whatever we needed. Was a fantastic stay over all.

A reminder of the town’s maritime history sits along the Mystic River: the Mystic Seaport, a recreated 19th-century seafaring village with whaling and tall ships and a working shipyard. At the Mystic Aquarium visitors can interact with penguins, Beluga whales, and other sea animals. The Olde Mistick Village, a replica 18th-century New England village, is filled with specialty shops and restaurants.
