Great location. Otherwise an old and very basic hotel. No fan in bathroom and older room. Loud with the Tran outside our window too. Didn't try the breakfast so I cannot comment on it. Good location is the main attraction to this hotel for sure- you are five mins from Marienplatz.

The hotel is located directly across from the train station and is very convenient for quick business travelers. We enjoyed breakfast that was included with our stay. we also went for dinner one night which had great service and good food. The only negative was that the room was so hot and the air was as low as it could go.

"A Very Nice Hotel Very Close to the Train Station"
Stayed one night. The front desk staff member who checked me was incredibly friendly. I arrived at 11:00 a.m. after a long, overseas flight, but she checked me in and allowed me to get to my room for much needed nap. The room was modern, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi worked well. The breakfast was also very nice. The hotel itself is just a minute or two from the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). The airport is 40 minutes from the Central Station. From the hotel, you can stroll to the Marienplatz in about 15-20 minutes. I would gladly stay there again the next time I am in Munich.

Hotel is very close to train station and walking distance to Marriannenplatz. Hotel feels a bit older, but is in overall good condition and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
For light sleepers try to stay on a higher floor as the road noise can be heard on the 1st and 2nd floors.
Munich's airport is a 30-45 min drive outside the city. To get from the airport into Munich take the Grayline Lufthansa bus from the airport to the train station for €12. Then walk to the hotel is 5 min. Alternative options are the train, should be around the same price and goes to the same station. If you don't have time to figure out the public transportation Uber was €50-€65.
Recommend 'The California Bean' down the street for breakfast. Service and food are both very good.
Take the Grayline city tour to see Munich in 2.5hrs. It's a 'hop on and hop off' tour with busses running every 45-60min. They have a stop near Hoffbrauhaus so you can plan to go there after the tour. Definitely recommend Hoffbrauhaus! Have to go there!

In need of a little redecoration, but the room and bathroom were spacious and clean, staff friendly (a nice touch on Valentine's Day - a red rose and heart shaped chocolates on the table, plus a glass of fizz each!).
Great location, close to the train stations - would definitely stay there again.

After I completed the booking it said we were booked in the annex and there was no elevator. When we arrived they showed us the room which was nice but up three flights of narrow stairs. They were very happy to move us to the main hotel.

I arrived with an awful case of jet lag and checked into the hotel. The staff was marvelous, so friendly, so helpful! They were just great for my entire weeks stay. The hotel is very conveniently located to the main train station and bus tour pickup locations. The staff assisted me in getting setup for multiple tours, and as always, they were just great! The hotel is very clean and I felt totally safe while there. There is a restaurant in the same building that I ate breakfast at each day of my stay. The lady that runs it is super nice, speaks English, and will pamper you with kindness!
The internet is free and works great! The tv selection is a little limited for English speakers, but did not find that to be a problem, as I could stream tv shows on my laptop. The bed is great, the room was more than adequate in size, and the bathroom has a very large shower in it.
All in all, I would highly recommend the Kings Hotel City Stay. The hotel is very nice, but the friendliness, helpfulness, and competence of the staff is what would bring me back to this hotel on my next visit!
