"Close to hospitals."
I was in town for the birth of a grandchild, so it was important to be close to the hospital. Took my older granddaughter to Wet n Wild which was only about 6 miles away. The 24X7 snack bar is good for coffee and a big selection of cold drinks-all free. Negatives: TINY refrigerator, NO MICROWAVE in the rooms (there is one in the snack area, but it's pretty inconvenient to have to carry your food and walk there). There is a laundry room, which is convenient, but the washers smell really bad. Pool was nice and there are tables with umbrellas that I didn't see in the website pics. The rooms are non-smoking, but there are ashtrays right outside the rooms and in the outside common areas. Staff was very nice and helpful. Housekeeping was also nice and brought extra towels and pillows. Some sort of shelf or caddy in the shower would be nice. This place could compete better with extended stay hotels by adding a microwave and bigger refrigerators.

"Great Location "
I stay here a lot as I travel to Phoenix once a month for about 5 years. I also most always stay at the 3 Palms. There is a great park with walking an bike paths minutes from your room. It is a short drive to many attractions like the Zoo, Botanical Gardens, ASU and Old Town Scottsdale. The pool is a good size and has a hot tub in that area. This is not a large hotel but serves my purpose well. There is a restaurant and lounge on sight but my favorite go to place is Dukes just a short walk away.

"Extended stay without the noise."
Had to find a reasonably priced Extended Stay for business and this one fit the bill. Priced Right but needed a few changes that would make it perfect. Some bugs on the floor but they move slow so I could get rid of them. The shower head trickled out slowly so it was nice to get home to my powerful shower head. Laundry room took care of the clothes I needed to wash at $2 A wash and $2 a dry. Refrigerator didn't really get cold enough to keep stuff cold so I had to throw my milk out the fifth day in. Nice thing was there were not many kids because they don't have a pool there.

"Convenient Downtown Location, But Expensive Area"
The hotel is really cool, very hip, trendy vibe. Staff were all very nice, friendly and welcoming. The parking is a bit tricky and expensive. The hotel does not validate your cost, but offers a slight discount (from $30 to $23 for an overnights stay) and we had to spend 20 minutes driving around to find a spot, as most of them were reserved for the residents who also live in the building. There are not street parking options, or not any you would want to take your chances with, being downtown Phoenix for overnight parking, so you have no choice but to pay the cost. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean (although my boyfriend thought the pillows were hard, I thought they were fine). Also, cold AC which is a must in AZ. The rooftop pool is really neat and the views are awesome! We had been at another Valley resort the day before, where we could hardly enjoy the pool - so we were very appreciative of the more adult-scene at this hotel.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
