"The best moderately priced hotel I've stayed in. "
We needed a hotel for only one night in San Jose and searched Trivago for a reasonably priced hotel. Hotel Zico was on the lower end of the price scale, but had great reviews so we booked it for that night. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel (boutique style), friendliness of staff and general comfort. They also have a great breakfast that is included, rare these days. We were also able to print out boarding passes with no hassle.

We stayed two nights and it was so quiet every time we walked inside. The room was a little dated but it was very spacious, which was just a dream. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was well stocked, and the staff was very friendly. A wonderful stay overall.

The staff in the front desk are super friendly. They upgraded my room to the luxury one because the reserved room was not available to me at the time I arrived. And the housekeeper left some candies.

The facilities is not very new, there's not a thermostat in the room but an old AC which is very noise. The elevator is old too. Other than that, the overall experience is ok. The outdoor environment there is very good.
