"Excellent hotel in good location in charming Perth"
I stayed for 4 nights, arriving after midnight and departing three days later in the morning. The staff were polite and efficient, with check-in and check-out being fast and convenient. As the hotel is located on the corner of a major thoroughfare in Perth, though not quite in central Perth, the location afforded peace and solitude. One might quibble that the location might not be the most convenient as it is a 10-15 minute walk from the central mall shopping a retail area, but it rains a lot in winter in Perth in winter, so a drop-off and pick-up service from the central mall area by hotel mini-bus would be convenient. The hotel is only a few minutes on foot from the Perth Mint, which is a surprisingly informative and entertaining attraction. Regarding the hotel, the rooms were comfortable and reasonably spacious. The bathroom itself is outdated, with separate bath and shower facilities, which are separated by a swinging glass partition. The bathroom amenities could be improved, such as the provision of a toothbrush. Hotel parking is reasonable or expensive, depending on the length of time one might wish to park. Anything longer than two hours costs $30.00, as does parking after 2.00pm, and overnight parking, so the last option would seem to be the best choice. These are single entry costs, so limiting entry to once each day is advisable. Nevertheless, Perth is still Perth, and a sheer delight to explore. King's Park and Fremantle are simply superb, as is the rest of Perth.

"Outstanding Service, Stunning Apartment and Views"
Well this review is one I write with absolute pleasure and still with a smile on my face ... so here goes. Fi & I have travelled relatively extensively globally over many years but we must say that the service we received at Fraser Suites East Perth was as good as we've experienced anywhere in the world. Right from the very first moment I spoke by phone with Robyn prior to check-in, everything was seamlessly smooth & effortless. On arrival Robyn greeted us at reception and was so very professional and pleasant it was refreshing to come across a very personable and legitimately caring person that wanted to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible ... Robyn personally assisting Fi with luggage to our room whilst I parked the car was simple but very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. My request for a room to maximise the view of Perth was certainly granted, but I somehow think Robyn already knew we were to be seriously impressed by the view ... so thanks again Robyn (and also for the complimentary bottle of wine & delicious chocolates). Our one bedroom apartment had stunning 180 degree full length window views of both Perth's river and across to the darling escarpment hills region from both the bedroom and the living room. Dinner that night downstairs at Pete Evans' Heirloom Restaurant was magical with great service again and metre de Stefan is to be commended for his professionalism and also for his discrete last quarter football updates during an exciting AFL Melbourne d

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Mount Claremont hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
