"Beautiful resort with impeccable service. "
We chose this resort for part of our honeymoon trip and it did not disappoint. All arrangements made by their staff before and during our stay were helpful and professional. We will definitely come back again if we are in Bora Bora. A paradise that everyone should experience.

"Relaxing"
Very relaxing resort. We stayed in a beach bungalow for 5 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed anything. Swimming in the lagoonarium directly behind us was fantastic, with the tropical fish swarming around the feeding areas.I would recommend staying at the resort as the main island itself is thilthy compared to Moorea .

"very nice resort"
Very nice resort. Staff is friendly. Overwater bungalow was great. Bed comfortable. Food was not as expensive as I heard for the most part, and good. Was relaxing and like there were not as many people there even though they were sold out. Being able to get snorkel gear and kayak or paddleboard is nice. Learning about and feeding turtles was fun.

"Private resort in paradise"
Beautiful location, superb customer service, off the beaten path and very quiet, excellent food. Can't say enough good things about this resort. Highly recommend!!! The only complaint: food is extremely pricey ($29 hamburger, $20 bottle of water). Felt like price gauging on the water in particular.

"Beautifully appointed rooms, but unbearably hot"
I enjoyed my stay at Le Perle de Tahaa, and was impressed with its luxurious well-appointed bungalows with modern furnishings. My room featured a stone sink and shower, mini kitchenette for preparing meals, and ultra-comfortable bedding. Ordinarily I would give this caliber of room 5-stars, but the temperature in the room was unbearably hot, despite the fan - I was sweating bullets within minutes. The owner, Roberto, is a friendly but to-the-point gentleman who takes pride in his hotel, but he would do well to install air conditioning in these bungalows - even on a pay-per-use coin operated system as used in some hotels in Australia. Powerful fans are installed in the bungalows, but they are of little use as they circulate the hot air - I only maintained comfort through repeated cold showers. With this slight alteration to the property, I believe it could compete with the best of hotels. The beach area by the lagoon was well-landscaped and relaxing, and the garden area features a wide variety of places to lounge and relax. I would recommend this hotel include transfers to and from the nearby pier (2 km, 20 minute walk), as the 1000 XPF price tag for the 3-minute drive is a bit steep - such inclusions go a long way in demonstrating excellent customer service. Roberto also offers reasonably priced island tours (5000 XPF, 5 hours) to vanilla plantations, pearl farm, and fruit orchards - I highly enjoyed his knowledgable guidance and would recommend the tour to visitors.

Motu Tape is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Motu Tape, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Motu Tape hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
