This is probably one of the nicest, if not the nicest hotel in the area. The common areas have been tastefully and beautifully decorated recently with modern decor. You get an outstanding view of the Bay from there. A great place to take in the beauty of the bay. The rooms are large and comfortable, and are heated by a gas fireplace (that you will need in cold nights). The only minus for me was that the nice looking wood shades let a little light in at night, and I would have preferred a blackout curtain instead (I need complete darkness to sleep, this may not be the case for others).

We stayed in this charming hotel for only one night but immediately fell in love with it. The hotel has a great vintage vibe but thoroughly modern with spacious, comfortable rooms. We chatted with the owners who completely renovated it a few years back. They were friendly and very informative about the area. The location is perfect. I would come back here in a minute. Thank you for a wonderful stay in this gem of a hotel.

"Cute and homey, clean and convenient, dog friendly"
This is a very cute and homey motel. While there is Not much of a view, it's location is very convenient to the Embarcadero in Morro Bay. The complementary breakfast is quite good and brought to your room each morning. The staff are really nice. The rooms were clean and pleasant.

After a flight and a long drive from la. This hotel was a quiet perfect spot to stop over. Bed was comfy and we had a great night sleep. They had a couple tables set up for breakfast but didn't have hot water for tea.

Nice hotel, but exterior and lobby dated. Rooms on the second floor at less have been updated and extremely relaxing. The down stairs hot tub was a nice amenity. Overall I will stay in this hotel again.

A Central California fishing village, Morro Bay was named for its famous landmark, Morro Rock, which was discovered by Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo in the 16th century. Home to birds, sea mammals, and fish, the community is an animal lover’s paradise with a mild climate year-round. Hearst Castle is 28 miles to the north.
