"Wonderful Experience"
We started and ended our stay in Italy here!! Wonderful staff, great location next to train station and a short walk to Trevi fountain and spanfish steps. Eat around the corner at Matermatuta (reservation recommended). Food is amazing and restaurant was recommended by staff and a wonderful couple we met from Rome. We hope we are fortunate to be able to return to Rome and would definitely stay here again!

"Great design"
This hotel has a lot of positives. The location can't be beaten, walking distance to almost anything you want to see and wonderful for aimless wanders around town. The design sensibility is also great. Included breakfast is very tasty. Room is comfortable. The main reason it is not 5 stars for me is that there are glitches with the tv, shower, air-con etc. this is a brand new hotel and the management is working on fixing all these issues. I believe it can be a 5 star hotel in a short while.

Hotel Colosseum

Via Sforza 10, Rome - Map
"Basic Hotel"
The hotel is comfortable, has what you need, but nothing fancy. The rooms are basic with a bed and armour for hanging clothes. The bath is small with a shower that would not accomodate a larger person. The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels provided, though the sheets are not replaced daily and were "itchy" to the point that we checked for bugs a couple of times. There is a nice patio area on the roof with a view of the city of Rome. The breakfast is very nice with meat, cheese, breads, cereals, coffee and juices. Americans who are used to cold milk will be disappointed. The breakfast staff are excellent and efficient. Some of the desk staff were good, but two of them did not seem to care for Americans giving just what was necessary to us.

"New hotel near Monti district "
Hotel was very clean, updated, and had everything you needed. Compared to other hotels we stayed at in other areas of Italy that were 4 star, this was my least favourite due to location and overall vibe of the hotel. Not as fancy or hip as others we stayed in but still very nice.

"Super 2-star hotel"
We were impressed with the hotel for the price we paid. Everything is clean and well-decorated. Of course the room was small, as are most in Europe. But the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The hotel staff couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful. Breakifast ok with plenty of choices.

Hotel Duca d'Alba

Via Leonina 14, Rome - Map
A very pleasant hotel and I would stay there again. While the rooms are small and certainly a tight squeeze for two people at times, the ambience and comfort is pretty much faultless. It is located just up the road from the Colosseum and you can even see the hotel from Cavour metro station. Breakfast was a very good offering with a hot selection of bacon, sausages, fried or scrambled eggs as well as the usual continental fare. Staff extremely helpful.

Monti is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Monti, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Monti hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
