Friendly staff, close to everything. They didn't clean our room on one of the days. They have this new perk called "handy" - a cell phone included with the room where you can make free local calls and use the internet for free! So awesome to not have to use our own cell phones (we get roaming charges.) A great idea.

We stayed here on our last day in the area because we had a very early flight. It was an easy drive to the airport but more than that we loved the hotel and the staff were very accommodating...they had breakfast bagged for us on our way out at 4:15am. The grounds are beautiful and if you play golf it is an especially nice place to stay.

We stayed one night passing through town. It was very hot for Scotland and the air conditioning did not really work. Had to open the window and hear all the railway noise to try to cool the room a bit. Because of the weather in Scotland, this would rarely be a problem for most travelers.
