Great lobby, nice and clean rooms. But one night we were off schedule and went to the pool becuase our kids were begging. It was dinner time and we figured we'd stay there just for a little while and then figure out dinner. Well a server came out to see if we'd like to order dinner! They brought it out to the tables at the pool. It was great.

This was the first time that I made a reservation without my husbands input. I viewed other hotels in the area and found Sleep Inn close to the interstate and within 5 minutes of our destination. The parking area was well lit, upon entering we were not only greeted with a smile from the young lady at the desk, she immediately proceeded with her paperwork and made us feel right at home in offering us freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Not knowing the area, we asked her where would be a good place to have dinner, she recommended a diner close to the hotel. My husband and I were very happy with her suggestion.
We continued on to our room and I was very please that along the way the hotel was in very good condition. We took the elevator up to our room, noticing the cleanliness of the carpet, walls and entry doors to each room. I was please that I, so far, had made the right choice. Our room was spotless, we were privy to a all the amenities and quite to my surprise the room matched what I had seen on the internet. The king size bed was well equipped with more than enough pillows and blankets, all were clean and spotless. Plenty of lighting along with generous room in the shower, very clean with plenty of pure white towels. Would we go back there or recommend the Sleep Inn in Midland, Michigan? Without a doubt! Oh, by the way, hubby was impressed with my "choice", thank you sweetheart.

We drove up from Indianapolis, IN to attend a performance at Midland Center For The Arts. The room was much nicer than we were expecting, and the pool/hot tub was wonderful. Mrl Patel at the front dest was a pure joy to deal with, and very eager to assist us on our vacation. We would definitely recommend to anyone heading up that way!

The room was nice looking,, but the economy showed up when low lighting interfered with our desire to read before bedtime. The breakfast was quite limited and forced us to stop at a local McDonald's as we left.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, especially after all the bad reviews. Yes the hotel is older, but it is well maintained and clean. Staff were friendly and the rooms were very nice. I loved all the stuff to do for the kids, especially the indoor play area, pool table, ping pong, arcade, and pool. Yes, it is a bit muggy in the pool/play area because it is all open, but it didn't bother me. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was immaculate, and it was everything we needed for our stay. My boys and I were very happy at this hotel and we contemplated staying another night just to play.
