While visiting family in Midland my husband and I stayed at the Baymont which was clean overall, and convenient to where we wanted to go, especially close to where family lived. Complimentary breakfast had a variety of food and drink to choose from and offered reasonable hours. Refrigerator, in our room, kept our drinks cold, and bathroom was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and the noise was minimal.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Recommending this hotel, and would book a room here again.

After a long trip to Michigan and tiring day sitting in the airport, it was certainly.nice to swim in a warm pool that was adults only after 10 PM! Breakfast in the hotel lobby the next day was very nice-lots of food choices!

A little out of the way if you want to be in on the mainstream, but the room was spacious and clean. No hassle about late check in and check out was noon- definitely a bonus for a laid back stay. Our setting was pretty far from the pool (one of my requests), but it worked out fine.

We had a good stay. Price was good. The room was spacious, fridge, microwave, a couch, king bed, TV. Bathroom was clean, maybe not in the deepest crevice of the corners, but overall pretty clean. The property was part of what appears to be a former resort & convention center that must have flopped, former movie theater attached to the property that is closed. The convention center part could still be open? It appears the Days Inn purchased at some point one of the two original places to stay and the Best Western purchased the other one. Its a two level hotel, but the room signage was interesting, it looks like they utilized signage from the third and fourth floors of another Days Inn, but the third floor signage at this hotel is the 1st floor and the fourth is the second (if that makes sense). A larger common area on the second or shall I say (fourth floor) is where the continental breakfast room is at. We weren't overly impressed by the breakfast, my wife grabbed some hard boiled eggs that were hard/rubbery (probably pre-cooked store bought in a bag type). We just don't normally care for continental breakfasts period, so she tossed it. Interesting property, overall we'd stay again, only complaint for us was the breakfast, but if you don't mind yogurt, toast, waffle, one type of muffin or cereal/oatmeal for breakfast, you'll be fine with it. The pool area looked nice from what we saw, but we were just so beat from our drive that we didn't even utilize it.

Sleep Inn in Midland is a surprisingly nice place to stay. We'd driven past it several times before on our way through town and decided to try it out when we needed to stay overnight before a visit to the doctor. The place is great. Nothing elaborate - just a nice, spotlessly-clean, well-kept hotel with an extremely comfortable bed. It was quiet and close to the mall, restaurant, and the hospital.
