Only stayed one night. Reserved on Expedia. We were happy with the room. Even though you can't see much of the ocean from the second floor, the view of Easton Pond from the bedroom window was very calm. We watched birds in the morning. (There is a trail that goes around the pond if you want exercise) Then we took our coffee and walked across the street to the benches in the park that looked over the beach and surf. The breakfast was sufficient--the same as we've seen at many hotels--cereal, yogurt, and coffee. Enough to get you going for the day without having to leave the hotel too early.

Stayed here for my Sons graduation from URI. Outstanding place. Staff was incredibly polite and knowledgeable of the local area. Beautiful place with great views. My room was spotless and very comfortable.

From the front desk to valet to housekeeping was A plus. Front desk took us to our rooms. Showed us where everything was. Both rooms were exquisite! Large bathrooms- plenty of room to move around! Both rooms were decorated differently.
Valet guys took us to restaurant & picked us up. No wait.
Everyone was very friendly & helpful. Hotel is right on the Cliff Walk which is a very easy walk & wonderful views.
Breakers is about 1.2 miles from the hotel on the cliff walk. After the breakers there are stretches of the path that are made up of boulders. Wear
Just an FYI: there is no elevator in the hotel & 3 floors. Valet took our luggage up. If you have mobility issues - let the hotel know as soon as you book.
Get there at checkin & have a drink on the lawn.
Breakfast was great. We had the lobster quiche / omelette & burrito- awesome!!
We will be back again!!

We were looking for a beautiful and quiet hotel to go to for a romantic weekend and the Castle Hill Inn was the perfect place. While I'm sure it's bustling with activity during the summer months, at this time of year it's quiet and quite peaceful. The hotel and the grounds are breathtaking and even in November, the sunsets are truly amazing. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The room was gorgeous and spacious and had a beautiful ocean view. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was one of the finest meals I've ever had and again, the service was impeccable. Newport is lovely at this time of year and Castle Hill Inn is wonderful place to stay.

Aptly named due to its location at the midpoint of Aquidneck Island, Middletown is sandwiched between Portsmouth to the north and Newport to the south. Still well-known as a farming community, Middletown is favored by locals and tourists for its popular beaches. Nature lovers flock to the Norman Bird Sanctuary, which offers seven miles of hiking trails through pristine natural habitats.
