"Summer holidays "
Mid sized, beautiful gardens & views, fabulous location in historic town with lots of places to eat out. If you want the beach, you can use the sister hotel (lots use morning, return to hotel pool afternoon). Better for older families (12+), couples & weddings/biz meetings (function rooms top notch, slightly apart hotel).

"Fab hotel located in the centre of Taormina."
I went with my sister to this hotel which is located in the centre of Taormina, it is a delight and I would throroughly recommend. If you love amazing restaurants and shops, fashion and culture, people watching and being able to visit a range of excellent tourist attractions such as Mount Etna and all the amazing churches, theatres, villages etc etc. I could go on forever. It is really worth experiencing and I cannot find a negative to our weeks stay.

"Great hotel, extreme hospitality!"
When we arrived, we were upgraded to a lovely room with full sea view! The concierge couldn't do enough for us! He even called the hotel next door to find out if there was entertainment that night (and there was). There is no entertainment at night here. There is a pool bar and a restaurant on site. We ate here 2 nights in a row. Breakfast was included in the room price. The food is very good. The only thing that upset me greatly was the dining room manager who constantly barked orders at his staff, seemingly berating them at every turn. They were actually running back and forth to the kitchen - all of them! They were like spinning tops. It was continuous and the staff didn't look happy and he didn't look happy! Consequently, it seemed to take over one's focus as all eyes were trained on him and the poor staff who tried to please. It was very disruptive to those dining. He was even there at breakfast! He was always running around and was upset that we had sat at a table for 8 as we didn't see a table for 2 at the end of the breakfast room. We were quickly transferred to it by him! When we didn't have a reservation for dinner one night, he threw his arms up in the air in an exasperated manner which upset us. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel next door the next evening. Were it not for the little man in the dining room, the hotel would have been perfect!

"Very nice hotel, close to city center"
Hotel Continental is an excellent hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is amazing! Easy access to Duomo square and the castle which is worth the hike! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

"Unique and beautiful hotel "
This was our first time traveling to Taormina. Hotel was very large, clean and beautiful. We had a spacious room with a private balcony. Their restaurant had excellent foods, buffet style. The hotel had a shuttle that took us up the cliff to Taormina. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel staff. They were truly bilingual! Tina and Davide were helpful with all our questions. Tina was so pleasant and helpful. I wish other hotels would have this type of person on their staff. She's a model for efficiency and professionalism!

"Classy comfort. Great location "
You cannot get better location. Right on Corso Umberto. Surrounded by night life and shops. Plus. The terrace bar has the best sea view imaginable. It's the perfect place for sundowners. Now the bar doesn't come cheap. But the service and canap├ęs and view are worth it. If they aren't worth it to you you will find it expensive. The rooms are fabulous with amazing views and super Aqua Di Parma products. No bath in our room but huge walk in shower. No tissues either which is unusual these days but hardly a big deal. The staff are smiley friendly and helpful. We lived it so much. A d will go back Very highly recommended indeed.

Really like this hotel, stayed here many years ago. It does need abit updating, but the rooms are comfortable and clean and the views are stunning. Was quite surprised restaurant not open during our visit. We also asked why air con was not on either and was told they don't put it on till middle to end of May. The temperature was in the middle twenties and we found it stifling at night. Breakfast is very good, they have a good choice of breads cakes cereal etc. Staff excellent couldn't do enough to help us. There is a steep hill up to the town which might be a problem for the elderly or people with mobility problems.

"Nice Hotel & great location"
We have just spent 2 weeks at the Taormina Park Hotel and loved every minute of the stay, the staff are welcoming and friendly and do whatever they can to make your stay memorable. The breakfast buffet was good but they only do fried eggs, boiled ones would have been a nice option but apart from that everything was great. The hotel itself is a little dated but that just added to the charm but it was clean and comfortable as you would expect. All in all this is a great place to stay and I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to stay in Taormina.

Messina is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Messina, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Messina hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
