Still has the charm and elegance. Room maintenance could do with some work - nothing major but the bathroom door handle was only just hanging on by a screw or two. Exterior paint could do with some work. But service and style still of the highest order. This is a great institution and long may it continue to be so. Thank you. We will be back.

Great hotel. Close to tram stops (including the stop for the free city circle tram) Staff were excellent throughout and food was good. The Business Class Room was well-appointed and we had a view overlooking Flagstaff Gardens. The bed was exceptionally large and really comfortable. All together a first class experience.
Recommend without hesitation.

Though not quite as apartment-like as a real serviced apartment (read: no sofa or real sitting area, and no oven if you take the small suite), Pegasus splits the difference with a hotel. Restaurant on site (not bad, not great, not expensive by Melbourne standards). Adequate gym, good lap pool. Good bed. Good bathroom (minus a bath in ours). Competitive pricing with other serviced apartments.

I can endlessly enumerate epithets for this hotel, but prefer to be short-it is the right place for people with an exquisite taste. To my mind, it is inevitable to love everything about it, from the first step up to the last minute of a stay. I would like to express a special gratitude for a choice of classical music played in the foyer, it gave a final touch to the beauty of architectural forms and design of the hotel.

The original room I had booked had a faulty air conditioner. The staff were quick to send someone from maintenance to check it out and once assessed they had decided to upgrade my room at no charge as the air con needed repairing.. The staff were very helpful and even allowed me a much earlier check in.. Would highly recommend this hotel not just for the fantastic location but for the quality of the staff there too.. Very much enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again.. Thanks.

Stayed as a tourist and the hotel, although clearly organised for the business traveller or conference goer, was well positioned and reasonably priced. Would certainly return if on business in the area.

The district is home to many corporate headquarters, financial institutions, theatres, Chinatown, and an established population of students and young professionals.
