Only met one staff person (same checking in as checking out the next day), she wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either.
The room was kind of shabby and dark, in serious need of updating, but for the price it was to be expected. It said it was a non-smoking room but you could smell cigarette smoke when you walked in the door, especially on the curtains. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Wifi was easy to connect to also without difficult login or codes.
It served its purpose as needed and I would probably stay there again provided the room I got didn't have the cigarette smell.

We were returning from vacation with teenage son and the family dog. This was just a perfect spot (right off I81, easy off, easy on). The hotel was undergoing renovation but this did not detract from the comfort, staff efficiency, and the room itself.

Reserved a room with 2 beds to save on room rate. Room was cramped with the 2 beds. Would be tight quarters for more than 2 people in the room. Cleanliness was ok. I ended up wiping down the bathroom after seeing toothpaste splatters and fingerprints on the bathroom door.
Location is good. Plenty of restaurants nearby. One chain restaurant with many tv's to watch sports is 100 yards behind the hotel. Hotel is upgrading rooms, will stay again once the rooms are updated. The new HIE rooms are a great value.

The hotel was beautiful. Didnt get to enjoy fully since we checked in late after enjoying Hershey Park. The check in was quick. Room was excellent, loved that it has a mini kitchen. Beds were so comfy that they didnt want to leave. Disappointed that the pool was outdoors and had many things floating around, something resembling mucus. Breakfast had lots of choices. Overall will stay here again and again.

Named for a settlement of wagon mechanics in the early 1800s, the town grew in part because of its link to the Pennsylvania Railroad. The Mechanicsburg Museum Association preserves historic railroad sites like the Stationmaster’s House and Passenger Station, along with the town’s oldest building, Frankeberger Tavern. Jubilee Day, the East Coast’s largest one-day street fair, takes place each June.
