This was a quick stop as we were celebrating New Years Eve with local friends. The beds were so comfortable! The bathroom was clean. The only trouble we had; my boyfriend couldn't find the ice machine. I can't say much more for the property itself & we didn't partake in the complimentary breakfast.

We were in town for a family memorial service. The whole family stayed here (10 adults, 5 children). A major snowstorm hit (30.2 inches) and no one could go anywhere. The staff was amazing! There were only two people in the bistro and they managed to feed all the guests and staff. The bistro was even opened for lunch, which is normally not served. And the food was good and reasonably priced. A conference room was made available to our family so we could have a little memorial service on our own. I cannot express in adequate words how fantastic our stay was in this hotel, mainly because of the staff. The accommodations were nice and definitely clean. We will be having the memorial service at a later date (when snow won't be in the forecast) and we will definitely look to stay here.

The hotel staff wasn't very friendly they didn't really go out of their way to speak to you as you were coming and going during your stay but the hotel itself was great. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Named for a settlement of wagon mechanics in the early 1800s, the town grew in part because of its link to the Pennsylvania Railroad. The Mechanicsburg Museum Association preserves historic railroad sites like the Stationmaster’s House and Passenger Station, along with the town’s oldest building, Frankeberger Tavern. Jubilee Day, the East Coast’s largest one-day street fair, takes place each June.
