First it is out away from Mariposa about 6 miles, not too far. Beautiful room with a big comfortable Brass bed, fridge, microwave and coffee and teas. All the comfort you need in a room. I like that the rooms are actually little pool houses, very private. The pool is right outside your door. The breakfast was great with homemade toppings for your french toast. We woke up to Wild Turkeys in the yard and some Deer another morning. Very relaxing and would recommend it anytime. The owners are very n ice and make you feel at home.

So, yes, it's very pleasant motel just outside the entrance to Yosemite NP. We've stayed twice. The kids (and I) like the jacuzzi on the cold winter nights.
One positive aspect not obvious is that the motel is right on the main drag through Mariposa--one of the few streets really. There are some cool shops (not all super touristy), an old Ace hardware store, several good restaurants, decent bars. One divey place that's ok too, some other good ones + an interesting place called The Getaway or Hideaway I think, just off the main street w a small lit sign and strand of lights, pointing down to a good location bottom floor/patio of an old house. A super pizza joint on the corner. Our kids LOVE the diner a block down from the motel--some younger folk took it on 4-5 years ago that knew what they were doing, and made it very clean, nostalgic looking. Best of all the food is great: breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have creative meals too made by people that have an interest in making good, somewhat creative food... incl fresh backed stuff.

We spent the day driving from San Francisco to Yosemite Comfort inn arriving rather late. The woman on the counter was lovely and accommodating, explained in full how to work the wifi and where the nearest restaurants were. The rooms were CLEAN and bed comfortable. My only suggestion is you turn the air con on BEFORE you go to bed! Breakfast was amazing, one of the best on the whole trip. We will definitely stay again.

We went to Yosemite by YARTS. The YARTS's bus stop (Park and Ride, Mariposa) is only some minutes by walking from this hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good too.

The inn is located in a sweet spot of the small town. Nice and considerate staff. Lovely room and clean bathroom. I love the fresh and good smell of the towels which says something about how much they care about the guests.

The owner was really friendly and helpful. 45 minutes from Yosemite. Quiet Hotel we felt like we were the only ones there. The room was clean and located to a lot of restaurants. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay again

Went for christmas weekend with family and friends. Have so much fun. Shops around the hotel were great . Everything was close . They had one fast food place (BK) and other places to eat. Said it was 20-30 miles from Yosemite but its more like 1hour. We found couple of stop to take the kids the go play in the snow. Hotel needs a remodel but it was clean and not loud at all. The spa didn't work. No wifi. U must pay if u want wifi $8 dollars a nite
