Beds were comfortable. Bath was clean. Breatfast was good and hot. They have real plates instead of paper plates. They serve Scambled Eggs, Saugage links, Waggles, Danish, 4 different Cereals, Coffee in 4 flavors instead of just one. Plenty of seating in dining area. Friendly cook staff.

Great for the $$ and close to Yosemite about 1hr drive time. In town with a number of restaurants, food market, pharmacy, gas, and trinket shops. Not the luxury type of hotel though clean comfortable (pets ok with a small fee) very nice staff, our favorite place to stay when visiting Yosemite national park, and recommended to our friends and family whenever visiting the area. Must make a reservation as they are most often sold out.

The Hotel is directly next to the YARTS bus stop that takes you to Yosemite in about 2 hours. The room was clean, the beds were really comfortable, and we had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine in our room. Parking is directly in front of the rooms and check-in was really easy.

We had a great time. We only stayed one night, but I would love to stay again next time we're in the area. The room was very comfortable and clean. There were even some complimentary cookies for us when we arrived. :) Location and staff are great - the women who run it are very friendly and helpful.

Spent three nights here. Accomodation overall is very nice. Good sized room with two queen beds that gave us room to live out of our cases. Lovely bear themed decor. Had a detached chalet type room set in the grounds of the house. Simple breakfast served in the main house. Very small thing, but if you like milk with breakfast bring your own as owner does not provide it, homemade cakes though are lovely.

At the southern end of the California Mother Lode in the Sierra Nevada, Mariposa County encompasses much of Yosemite National Park. The former gold-mining town of Mariposa is the county seat and lies 30 miles west of the park entrance. The town is home to the Mariposa Museum and History Center. The county courthouse, built in 1854, is the oldest continuously operating courthouse in the state.
