Traveling from mid-Florida to northern Alabama, wanted a stop in the middle as the ride is perhaps too long at once. Perfect place for the reason; convenient to the freeway, walking distance to restaurants. Plan to stay again.

When I called and spoke to your representative I asked for the very best AARP or any other discount available. I was quoted $73.40 including tax as the very best rate. My credit card was charged that amount, When I checked out, the clerk printed out my bill, of course paid, as $57.78. I questioned the clerk as to why I was charged $73.40 by Expedia. She had no explanation other than maybe Calling AARP and going through Expedia I was charged a booking fee rather than given a discount.
After returning home I called your customer service and spoke to a person named Glenda. She checked and said Expedia was only charged the $57.78 rate by the Marianna Inn and Suites and I would be refunded the difference as a credit to my credit card. She said a manager would be in Monday and approve the credit.

Beds were very comfortable. Coffee was great.Staff was very nice. But in bad need of maintenance. They had to move us because toilet wouldn't flush and water in tub drained very slow. In the 2nd room we had to continually turn bathroom light on and off before it would come on and the hair dryer didn't work.

Small-town charms and underground adventures can both be found in Marianna, about 22 miles west of Lake Seminole. Florida Caverns State Park is the only open-air cave system in Florida which offers public tours. Swimmers and cave divers can check out Blue Springs Park. In town, restored antebellum homes and a refurbished downtown provide a glimpse of the region's history.
