We were overwhelmed with the great beautiful hotel, with a wonderful view from the room, porch and dining room of the Rocky Mountains -- and being upgraded from Studio to Deluxe King with jacuzzi. Great fine dinner, and full complementary continental breakfast.

Very clean, comfortable beds, very good air conditioning. Excellent location, close to historic downtown Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City, plus close to the many sights. Only complaint was free breakfast. Breakfast room is way too small, not enough seating. Plus, they run out of food.

We stayed in one of the Park Row Lodge's rooms in the back of the motel which face the creek, which was lovely. The motel has been updated and was cute and fun. The bed was comfortable and the fridge worked okay. The breakfast was "continental" with doughnuts and bagels with cream cheese and packs of crackers and granola bars but there's no dining area inside. Instead we ate breakfast at Adam's Mountain Cafe one morning and Moe's Diner the next, both are next door on either side of the motel; Adam's is excellent and classy, Moe's was very good diner style food. The motel is very easy to find and convenient to everything Manitou Springs has to offer, we'd stay there again.

Our experience at the Pikes Peak Inn was great. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet and we had not a single complaint. Very close to the Cog Railroad and downtown is a short and pleasant walk. We'll be back!

Named for the mineral water springs close to town, Manitou Springs is 6 miles northwest of downtown Colorado Springs. Travelers making the ascent to Pikes Peak often stop in Manitou Springs before driving or boarding the train to the summit. The cog railway to Pikes Peak is the highest in North America; a roundtrip takes about 3 hours.
