Excellent hotel staffed by friendly, efficient staff. Great location close to central city attractions & restaurants. Comfortable, clean & spacious rooms. Bar has live music Friday and Saturday, it also sits over an accessible cellar where the remains of the City's Roman walls can be seen.

We initially had booked a dreadful room which looked onto a walled area where all the fans vented out chip fat etc. It was tiny which was ok with us for 2 nights in central Malaga but the heat was so awful we had no sleep. When we opened the window all we could smell was cooking. I complained and was eventually allocated an upgrade to an internal courtyard room which was brilliant. We didn't have to pay for the upgrade and the staff were very pleasant. My advice would be don't book the cheaper rooms unless you like to lie and cook.

a good stay, near train station and not too far to walk into centre. The only comment I have is that its rated as a vip hotel on expedia and didn't get upgrades or even a mention of its vip status with expedia, this was the only reason I booked through expedia as I could have got it at 10% less on another website.

We were lucky to have warm days during our stay but alas, aircon did not work so had to sleep window open and that means noise and a mosquito! Reception tried to turn a/c on but i dont think it worked - I gather it will be on during summer but not in the winter.
Bed was very comfy though.

Good location. Away from the main tourist area, but an easy, flat 15-20 minute walk to the old are, shops and port. No3 bus is good for tired legs! Great staff, all very helpful. God room and breakfast. Would stay in this chain, and in this hotel again. Lots of good local restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk.

Pocket Guide: Malaga Historic Centre Malaga Hotels
One of Spain’s biggest ports and the provincial capital, Malaga’s city centre has undergone a major facelift in recent years to attract many tourists who would usually pass straight to the local resorts. The historic centre features narrow streets surrounding the iconic lopsided cathedral. Plaza Merced is the birthplace of artist Pablo Picasso. Above it all sits the hilltop fortress of the Alcazaba.
