"Nice hotel that is near to historical attractions"
Nice hotel that is of walking distance to various historical attractions, shopping mall and jonker walk. Booked an Equator Club room for 2 nights. Room is nice. Bathroom is clean. View is good. Staff are helpful and friendly. Only thing is the hotel looks pretty old from external. The door to my room is pretty difficult to close. Need quite some strength to push to close. Could be due to wear and tear. Buffet breakfast spread is decent but not fantastic. Taste of the foods at the buffet breakfast can be improved.

"Modern hotel in a central location"
Pros: Modern/functional design (great attention to detail from reveals on the ceiling to folding doors for bathroom to all glass wall that allows you to watch TV from shower. Quiet and central location to malls, restaurants and major attractions (15 minute walk to Jonker street and St. Paul's church etc.) Friendly staff - was advised 15 minutes before breakfast buffet ended, efficient checkin process, picked up parked luggage and got a taxi within 5 minutes. Safe location and family friendly - card access required to each floor, general vicinity felt safe (walked around late night), there appears to be a security guard outside at all times. Room comfort - quiet with comfortable bed. Had a view of the pool on the 12th floor. Cons: Lack of bellboy to greet and take your luggage to room. Breakfast buffet selection was basic with a total of approximately 25 items (for a 4 star hotel). Elevators did not always work as expected (we were stuck on a floor after other tenants got off and were not able to get access to our floor, had to switch to another elevator). Did not use: Gym and pool (even though I could see kids enjoying themselves at the pool and and small playground). Overall, excellent value through Expedia and I would highly recommend this hotel!

Our stay was dream from when we arrived till when we left the staff could not have been more helpful. The Spa is excellent, and is definitely a must indulgence during any stay. The gym is well equipped and all the equipment works - that's rarity in Asia. Loved the welcome cup of tea on arrival.

"Overall a pleasant stay"
We had our room at the end of the stretch and behind the stretch there is no ac at the walkway with very bad sewage smell which even happen in the room toilet as well. The smell is bad but it will be gone for awhile when you bathe when water keep flowing through but back once you done bathing :( Overall room and bed is comfy. Bigger than expected. Location is easier to located right across Hatten Hotel (walkable distance). Afterall still acceptable.

"Quick Getaway"
Hello. I stayed at one of the hotel luxury villa. I did not expect the hotel to be in the middle of houses and by the roadside. The space is quite limited. Once you reach the hotel, there is no car park. u need to ask the receptionist first then they will tell u where the car park is. It is located just behind the block. But the room was very classic with a touch of vintage wardrobe, and desk. I love the toilet! the bed was quite high so if u bring your babies or toddler just be mindful of the height. They provided iron with ironing board. weigh scale, safety box, bathrobe, sleepers and praying mat (for muslims). Very convenient so i dont have to ask from front desk. They even provide a coffee machine! The room is smaller than what was pictured in the website. Overall was ok but mosquito was quite a challenge. They provided mosquito electric repellent but still there are mosquitoes. Probably this is not the issue if you stay in the hotel room building. Breakfast was ok. not variety but ok for this type of concept hotel. Mee Curry was good, Nasi Lemak also good. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Malacca is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Malacca, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Malacca hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
