"Paradise Found"
My room had the most spectacular views. I experienced such serenity. I could only stay one night. I plan on going back for longer. No TVs in the room or radio. If you are looking for activities this isn't the place. If you want peace, scenic views, clean air, excellent food and five-star service, this is the place. I'm going back.

"Quite and relaxing"
The resort is beautiful and very relaxing, with this being the slower season it made for a great time to unwind. The best part about the resort is the Staff, when you dine at Casanova please request Deron he is the absolute best, when you are out at the bar by the beach request Herde and your drinks will keep flowing and when you do windsurfing, snorkeling or wanting to go out on the sailboat Mr. Flowers is your guy. The entire staff is very helpful and everything you need is as they say in Jamaica NO PROBlEM!! I can't say enough about the staff. Great group of people. I wish the resort offered more excursions everyday and not just on certain days because we came on Thursday and some of the things we wanted to see were on previous days. Our room was great and on the first floor which allowed us to sit out and walk to everything pretty quickly. We were only steps away from the main pool and beach. Be prepared to do a lot of uphill walking as the picture studio, front desk and Casanova restaurant are at the top of the resort. Those stairs can get to you after a while. I thought the Beach would have been a little larger but it is a good size. The water is not deep at all and I'm a very tall man so I didn't really get to enjoy it as much as I would have like. Lastly to the men, your significant other is going to fall in love again when the saxophonist walks the courtyard playing the best tunes ever. He was a treat to watch. Overall the staff is the best. Great vacation!!!!

"Honeymoon hotel / Anniversary trip"
We came to the hotel for our anniversary 10 years ago and decided to celebrate our 10th anniversary there. This have change drastically.... use to have Excellent service, now it's ok. Food use to be amazing... now aside from the Pavillion food is ok. Drinks use to come as soon as you have finished, now they have one server for the whole Beach. They say you have 24 hour butlers... well they just do several reservations and that's it. Takes 2 days to get your fridge stock... it's another Sandal hotel. Not anymore a small luxury hotel!

"All-inclusive, no tips allowed resort"
It was a bit strange not tipping the staff, though some of them insisted on it. I was told the hotel has a no-tips policy. There are three main restaurant options - Neptunes on the water, Bar BQ above the pool, and The Venetian (Italian, same limited menu every evening). There's also a breakfast & lunch area that most guests use daily called Bayside. If you don't reserve a table two days in advance, chances are you'll wait about 40 mins to be seated. The resort was at 97% occupancy when we visited. Everyone that worked at the restaurants were very friendly and socialized with us and the kids. Some room service staff however were not as nice - complained about not being allowed in to clean the room when we were napping. I killed a small roach, a centerpede, and a large cop cop ant inside the room before my family could discover them. I expected this since these insects naturally occur in these areas. I expected it to be more windy, but for some reason this resort doesn't seem to get ocean breeze. The only place you feel a slight breeze is on the walkway to the 4th floor elevator to descend to the beach. For the kids, there are Sesame Street performers...they mingle with you and do a few shows each day. My daughter loved it! There are local vendors on specific days - so if you see something you like I advise getting it right away, don't wait.

"Friendly and helpful staff"
Intimate well run hotel, although I arrived outside office hours the night staff were welcoming and professionally settled me in to my suite. This professional and helpful attitude seemed to be order of the day throughout my stay there. If you want a peaceful intimate hotel away from hustle and bustle of Ochi then this is worthy of consideration. Cons: Beach is small

Mahoe Bay is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Mahoe Bay, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Mahoe Bay hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
