"Self contained Villa has all that you need"
Enjoyed our stay and was a very comfortable place to stay. A little out of the way from the main shopping street - this may not suit everyone. We had a car so not much of a problem. Private pool is very nice and the surroundings are excellent. Was not too busy when we went which made the stay pleasant.

"Location location"
Central location within walking distance to shops, eateries, beach & marina. Studio was spacious, bright and airy for 2 adults, with the enclosed balcony serving as an excellent spot to have breakfast. The major down side was the level of noise coming from outside (possibly pub across the road and next door) despite closing all the doors and windows way past 1am. After a long drive and having to wake up early next morning for a tour, it will make me think twice to come back next time. Just a minor down side was the soft bed, sore back by the third night. On the upside was the friendly welcome by the owners and sausage dog.

"Nice tropical feeling"
My partner and I had a pleasent stay at QT Port Douglas. We stayed only 4 nights so we did not have much time to use all the facilities. Room was clean and I found the bed really comfortable. On the other hand there were a few maintenance issues (e.g. rust on the bathroom window and stains on carpet). At check out we were due about $30 discount on F&B as we did not have our room serviced daily (we left the sign on the door and one of the girls said she would have organised the voucher) but they must have forgot. WiFi was terrible! The signal was ok from my room but the speed was awful in any spot of the resort. In addition 3G/4G signal was poor (Optus) inside the room which didn't help. We had breakfast on our last day. I don't really think it's worth the money. It is more about quantity than quality. Nice outdoor cinema, lap pool and gym. Estillo bar was the highlight: tasty cocktails and a good selection of drinks. The pool and ping pong tables were perfect to stay entertained. Overall a nice tropical and casual feeling around the resort.

"Quiet and Classy."
Great place for a break, close to everything and a ' bonus' of no kids, so you enjoy the BBQ and pool even more. Everything was well appointed, however a bigger TV would be nice and better lighting in the bathroom (for the ladies who like to put on makeup!)

"A pleasant 4 star hotel."
Had a lovely stay there. We thought it should be rated a 4 star hotel not 5 star as getting slightly dated. Wouldn't want to pay full price. Items like sheets a bit scratchy for 5 star, and on occasions didn't replace all room amenities unless asked, and cutlery not supplied for breakfast sometimes. Staff very friendly and check-in/check-out very efficient. Other guests also friendly and no yobbos! Had a great time

"Near 4 Mile Beach"
Complex was a great location walking distance to downtown plus just across the mangroves to the 4 mile beach. Room was spacious and well appointed only negative was tile floors should have been wet moping before our arrival. Not noticeable just on the bottoms of ones feet. This should not deter you from staying as rest was great plus staff.

"Ideal location "
What a gem, brilliant location for easy access to 7 mile beach and Macrossan Street. I love Port Douglas and will definitely choose to stay here again and again. Room was clean, airy and tidy and made for the perfect base to explore the rest of the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay Anne.

Macrossan Street is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Macrossan Street, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Macrossan Street hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
