The only issue is that the staff of the hotel should practice more on their English language and the receptionists should know more about ferries and major information instead of asking guests to ask the concierge which is minutes away

Hotel Royal Macau

Estrada Da Vitoria 2-4, Macau - Map
"Nice hotel in the historic neighborhood"
We stayed here for 3 nights. It's nice and quiet without any cigarette smell which is a problem to many big hotels in Taipa. Hotel is decent size. Not too big where you can walk through the lobby and take elevator straight up to the room. Room size is good and very clean. The bed and pillows are very very comfortable. The hotel does have a complimentary shuttle service to the ferry terminal where you can transfer to other casino buses to Taipa. The frequency is decent. The only con is, there isn't a designated station for Royal Hotel bus to stop and park at the ferry terminal. However, you'll eventually figure out where the bus stops and drops off customers. For the price, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

"High standards of guest service and great room"
1. Reservation staff were truly professional and considerate in accommodating our needs (wedding anniversary) by offering a free upgrade of our room with excellent scenic view. 2. Guest Relations staff took initiative in contacting us to offer cake and card as a token of complimentary service in celebrating our wedding anniversary stay. We felt warm and surprised by such initiative. 3. Reception staff offered superb VIP check-in service. They were very attentive and considerate in services, in addition to offering us drinks, snacks and even instant photo shooting while we were waiting for the check-in procedure. In general, we felt we were highly respected by their welcoming courtesy and professional services as their guests. The services are superb. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Okura Macau to anyone who is looking for a high quality hotel for his/her stay in Macau.

Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16

Rua Do Visconde Paco De Arcos, Macau - Map
"A castle amongst the ruins of the city"
For a 5 star hotel, Ponte 16 is a visually beautiful and modern hotel. The room is big, clean and modern. The staffs are friendly and speak in an understandable English ascent. I was offered a free a upgrade though I did not ask for it. And once in the room, I was offered a free bottke a nice red wine, a box of truffles and an assemble of fruits. For a hotel that us set at the ruin of old Macau, not much one can do and look at in the surrounding areas. And there is not much one can do in the hotel also. The 3D Picture Exhibition is a waste of money. And inside the room, the TV is almost time to meet its end (I could see double images and TV keeo changing between color TV & black and white TV). The buffets is decent wuth some minor kinks. The breakfast sausage is very blend. The pork dumplings on the first day was undercook. The coffee was ast getting cold on my second morning. At dinner, the beef stew way over cook. Aside frim these minor inconveniences, I would still be willing to book this hotel with my next stay. Thank you Ponte 16.

"Nice and spacious hotel"
The room I book was the Star Premier Queens. This room had amazing view of the Golden Reel. It was super spacious and had a very nice layout. I love the amentities. Bathroom had a really bad smell but other than that I enjoyed my stay at Studio City. The waterfall shower was definitely a plus!

Macau is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Macau, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Macau hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
