I have stayed twice at this hotel and particularly enjoy the modern, clean unfussy rooms, particularly the large bathroom and walk in shower. The staff are attentive and the location is convenient between the rail station and the town centre.

My room was spacious, clean and modern. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. For example, a trip to the city centre was easy as the Reception was well prepared with specific bus schedules that showed where to get on and off the bus. I will choose this hotel again when I stay in Lübeck next time.

"Great location, good price, free parking, + a pool"
It's a great reasonably priced hotel.
Excellent location - across the bridge from the old town.
Everything you would expect from Holiday Inn - great for the money.
Bonuses for us were - free parking: the hotel does have paid for underground parking, but there are at least 10-15 parking spaces just outside and if you are lucky - you can park your car there for free.
Also a pool was a great addition - just perfect temperature for kids fatigued by a long car journey and 'pointless' - their word, not mine - walking around this magnifiscent town.
Luebeck itself is wonderful - a real city with real people and amazing architecture. Not just a beautiful tourist hotspot.
Would very much recommend.

Former queen of the Hanseatic League, the medieval city of Lubeck has some of the best Gothic architecture in Germany. The main landmark is the Holsten Gate with its cone spires, while the entire old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The beach at Travemunde has been a popular resort since 1802. The home of marzipan, Lubeck also holds a famous Christmas market and has museums dedicated to writers Thomas Mann and Gunter Grass.
