We had a double room and its was very spacious. The bed was a bit noisey but overall comfortable. The room was clean but the bathroom reeked of urine. The sauna and gym facilities were great and the rooftop sitting area had a great view of the city. The underground parking lot, at €13/night, is well lit and is easy to park larger vehicles in.
There is a grocery store and a brewery very close by and a plaza/food vendor market across the street. Downtown is also close as its only a 20 minute walk.
A side note, one staff member saw i was walking in the halls barefoot carrying my shoes because they had gotten wet and got slippers for me on her own volition free of charge which I thought was nice.

Great location near the forest and only a short journey from Stuttgart city centre. Well maintained and clean amenities. We particularly enjoyed the excellent quality of the breakfast buffet and the design of the hotel room.

Ideal location for visiting the Porsche, Mercedes Benz museums and the zoo. Small and friendly. Room could do with an overhaul but was clean and spacious. Bit too warm so needed windows open to sleep and could get noisy outside. Adequate breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. I thought it was good value for money and would stay there again if I needed to be in this area of Stuttgart.

North of Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg's claim to fame is its Ludwigsburg Palace. It is Germany's largest Baroque castle. Home to Duke Eberhard Ludwig von Württemberg in the late 17th and early 18th centuries, the ruler also built a hunting-and-pleasure palace, Favorit, as well as the Seeschloss. Today, visitors flock to the city to tour the insides and grounds.
