"Excellent location..closed to Lucerne town centre?"
We travelled from uk by car and if you want to explore Europe Lucerne is the best place to stay...Right in the middle..Milan is just 3 hours drive...If you love scenic drive go for a drive from Lucerne to Milan and don't forget to hang around in Lake coma..We enjoyed the stay in DREI KONIGE,friendly staff especially "Neena" and we met the owner of the hotel he build a Model railway on the top floor..Don't forget to visit that..Lots of restaurant & pubs nearby and enjoyed staying there👍

Hotel was located right next to the train station and the boat harbour so this made trips out and up Rigi or by train very easy. Reception staff were very helpful. Room was large, a bit modern which was a shame when the corridors and buildings were so lovely and old. Bathroom was adequate, cleverly laid out to make thebest use of the shape. Room was very hot, needed the bathroom window open all night.
One bonus was that despite it being carnival it was very quiet overnight and we could have a good night's sleep.

"Beautiful views, convenient location, great staff"
Hotel Seeburg is a beautiful lake-side hotel that is conveniently located to the main train station (10 minute bus ride) and the Swiss Transportation Museum (10 minute walk). It also offers the serenity and quietness of living next to the lake - nice views! Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and allowed me to do early check-in as well as store my luggage on my check-out day.

Home to nearly 60,000 people, Lucerne, on Lake Lucerne, is primarily a tourist destination due to its natural beauty of the lake and nearby Swiss Alps. The Chapel Bridge, a wooden bridge from the 14th century, is a top tourist attraction.
