This hotel is part of the Ingliston Country Club complex and is ideal location for Glasgow and Loch Lomond.
The Ingliston Country Club is an ideal wedding venue an the hotel would be an excellent choice for guests.
The complex is immaculately maintained and offers a fine dining restaurant which I'd highly recommend.

Let down by uncomfortably warm bedroom (even with all windows open) due to thermostatic radiator valves not closing fully. Complaints to staff failed to resolve, with no explanation provided.
Nice spa facilities but sauna was at an almost unbearable 96C and pool area also excessively warm thus could not cool down:-(

I liked the hotel, however I wish they put the thought that my next hotel put into their guests. The next hotel asked about anticipated arrival times so that the earliest arrivals would be able to check in early as their rooms would be cleaned in order of priority. While I understand the check in time is 3pm, it would seem that the airlines aren't as flexible with their arrival time, and being that I can't sleep on planes, I was overly exhausted when I tried to check in (about noon), and again when I tried to check in at actual check in time, and my room wasn't ready. They upgraded my room so that I was able to check in, but it felt like I was being inconvenient by them doing so.
It was a nice room. Great bathroom, however the only light that was burnt out was the one I would have needed for getting ready (the center bathroom light). There are way too many light switches, and the American outlet didn't work. There was a part on the marble that you could tell they hadn't invested in the proper cleaning materials, as it was covered in glass rings.
The bed needed a sheet. It had a"fitted" sheet, which was just a flat sheet tucked over the mattress, and a comforter, but it didn't have the regular flat sheet and I'm a hot sleeper who sleeps better under a cover (at my house, my comforter stays on the floor in summer and I sleep under the flat sheet).
Loved the spa, wished I had went there earlier. I would have been in there every morning and night!

I stayed for 5 nights and my room was always beautifully cleaned. It was surprisingly quiet as well, considering the location. I did not eat at any of the restaurants, so I can't speak to that. The only complaint I might have is that the bed wasn't the most comfortable I've had in a hotel, but it wasn't terrible, and the bathroom was spacious and lovely with a fantastic shower.

We wanted a luxury hotel, and Cameron House delivered. It felt very special.
I like historic hotels, but often they are a bit frayed at the edges. Cameron House manages to combine historical grandeur with a fresh feel. It was traditional and energetic -- a difficult combination to achieve.
My room didn't have a great view (I reserved "garden view" and got "car park view",) but the room itself was so nicely designed and decorated that I still loved it.
My only gripe -- and it is a small one -- was with the staff. They seemed expert at providing friendly reasons for why they couldn't solve problems (e.g. my car park view or a flavorless mushroom soup at the otherwise excellent restaurant.) I am from the US, but my British companions said this is this is just British culture and is not particular to the hotel.
Overall, this was the best hotel at which I stayed in Scotland. I rate it 5 stars.

You must visit and stay in the quaint, historic village of Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond. This community of 120 locals blends buildings of a different time with modern life and a rich Scottish village culture, which is palpable despite the large number of visitors.

"Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff and lovely food."
Had a fantastic stay thanks to Andy, who helped us in the restaurant with my grandsons, aged 3&6. Room was brilliant, lovely and clean and very spacious. Every member of staff was friendly and were great with the kids. Pool was great and the boys really enjoyed it. Cant fault anything about our stay, except I wish it had been longer
