"Convenient to train station!"
Overall this was a pleasant stay. Our view out the window was of service equipment and due to the time of year traveled, we could not turn on the air so at night the room became extremely stuffy. Staff was pleasant. Excellent eateries if you get off the main road and explore. Easy to explore if you like to walk but also near metro.

"Bring your earplugs!!!!"
Very pleased with quick and early check-in also got late check-out. Very central hotel. You can walk or commute to anywhere easily. Even walked to the train station with my luggage. Stayed in superior room. Big, comfy and clean room. Only problem was with the soundproofing. Outside noises blocked perfectly but you can literally hear everything coming from upstairs and side neighbors. Bring your earplugs!!!!

"3 nights in madrid"
We stayed on the 4th floor. Didn't have any windows just 2 skylights right above the bed which I didn't like. Room was very clean, room service-impeccable. The other thing which I found odd was that I called to get a cork screw and they told us to bring the bottle to them and it will cost 2 euros. good location of the hotel, walking distance to the shopping areas , close to metro .

"Great hotel for Madrid"
the hotel and the staff were lovely and very helpful and the position of the hotel is great for the Prado...a wonderful back area of great tapas bars and small restaurants. The Oyster bar at the hotel is lovely...the bartender Lorenzo is an amazing mixologist and a very professional and personable member of staff. His knowledge of the gins and other liquors in house is truly excellent..he is passionate about his work and imparts that knowledge with finesse and knowledge.

"Nice hotel but room too small "
The room was nicely done but way too small for comfort. No place to place your luggage to get things out. But it was quite.

"Comfortable hotel in nice location"
We reserved a Junior suite. The room was wonderful, very spacious with nice and comfortable furniture. The hotel is small with just the basics but that's all you need since it is in a corner of Plaza Santa Ana, which is full of restaurants, bars and cafes. Walking distance to everything. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice.

"Family city break"
A great base for the first time visitor from which to experience all that Madrid has to offer. We regarded it as our "home" for a few days and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. One slight criticism was that the the steam room was not working which would have been a great way to relax after walking around the City. The weather was perfect too, giving us a few days of extrra sunshine before the start of an English winter!!

"Nice place close to Prado"
Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, very close to the Prado, Thyssen, and Reina Sofia Museums, and also close to Atocha Train Station. Lots of bars, shops, and restaurants nearby. The rooms are comfortable, modern, clean, and relatively spacious. Breakfast was excellent.

Literary Quarter is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Literary Quarter, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Literary Quarter hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
