Nice time at TRYP Caparica Mar

TRYP is a good beach hotel. It is literally right next to the beach and you can't beat that. Not a 5 Star big city hotel but very good place to take the family to the beach. Service is efficient and friendly.

Everything is great except the noise in the evening. If you stay in lower floor, there is no way you can sleep before 3am. The management has to consider some isolation on the windows

Great Stay – But Watch Out for Pool Bar Overchargi

Overall, my stay at this hotel was wonderful — the room was clean and comfortable, the amenities were great, and the atmosphere around the pool was relaxing. Unfortunately, one experience left me feeling disappointed. While at the pool, I ordered a soda water and was charged 8 euros. At the time, I thought it was steep, but assumed it was simply because it was poolside pricing. The next day, I went to order another and happened to check the menu, the actual price was 4 euros. When I asked the staff member why I had been overcharged the day before, she simply shrugged it off without explanation. It’s a shame that at such a nice hotel, guests have to double-check their receipts at the pool bar. For future visitors, I’d recommend keeping an eye on what you’re being charged so you don’t have the same experience.

I simply loved the property and access to the beach was literally across the street. Every aspect of the hotel was thoughtfully planned there were so much to do at the property you literally didn’t have to leave if you chose to just relax.

It was a quiet and walkable area. The property is very conveniently located very close to the beach which is great. The area has garbage in the area across from the hotel and in the sidewalks/roads surrounding the hotel. Parking was difficult to find at the hotel and surrounding area. The hotel should have more parking area.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We stayed as a family of 4 in a family room with bunk beds. The room was big, clean and modern. We got the full board package which included breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner came with beer, wine, soft drinks and water included. The food was great. There was something new each meal. The meals were buffet style. The hotel overall was very nice. It was always clean and very modern. The beach was beautiful. There are lots of little shops to walk around to as well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful! We will be back!! We will definitely be back!

Nice little getaway

Great beach hotel

Great hotel, seems to be the best in the area. Across the street from the beach, nice pool area with a resort feel. The hotel staff were great, they had games and activities for young guests—my 10 yr old daughter had daily activities with Santiago, Fatima and Gloria—made it more enjoyable for our family. Plenty of restaurants in the area.

Everything was lovely. The atmosphere, clean spacious rooms. Beautiful ocean view. Pool was well kept and clean. Our only complaint is the outdoor dining/bar area was more of a smokers lounge and we couldn’t enjoy our meal. Recommend making the eating area smoke free for all to enjoy.
