"Nice hotel pity about no night staff"
We stayed here on the 9th till the 11th ,nice friendly staff lovely grounds all in all very pleasant the only down side to our stay is was the fact they had no night staff ,we were asked to leave our room key went we were going out and if not back by 10 30 they gave us a code to the front door ,no problems the first night as we were back at the hotel just before the staff finished their shift , problems came the second night we didn't arrive back at the hotel until about 10 45, we entered the code for the front door no problems went to the reception desk but no room key had been left out for us ,after much thought the only thing we could do was go behind the reception and look through the draws and generally around the reception area .still no key after some time i found on the wall a list of staff phone numbers one being the head receptionist .we phoned her mobile number (I think we woke her up but not sure) we explained our situation and she said she was sorry the key hadn't been left out and explained where it was in a cupboard ,so we then went to bed I by now was very annoyed alough my husband said not to worry at least we were in our room and didn't have to resort to sleeping in our car or on the couches in the bar area .this played on my mind all night as I kept thinking having to go into the cupboard for our key there were also other room keys in there and had we been the kind of people to take advantage we could have gone into any of those rooms and taken anything

"Convenient for Lincoln centre visit"
Initially allocated a room by a fire door. I wonder if that is policy when someone books through a discount site such as expedia. Monika at reception could not have been more helpful and we were eventually allocated a quiet room far from any possible source of noise; road, banging doors, other residents. There was a wedding reception on our 2nd night and we didn't hear a thing. We really appreciated it. Room was reasonable, bed comfortable, good choice of additional pillow types, shower was strong and lots of hot water, what more do you need? Decent sized pool for a swim, sauna and steam room free to hotel residents. Spa facilities & gym on site also for a fee. Not a hugely attractive building, no manor house or anything, more like a motel, but comfortable and across the road from a McDonalds for a cheap breakfast. Hotel breakfast £11 per person so worth checking out alternatives. Easy drive into Lincoln to whatever you are there to visit. Great restaurants in Lincoln; Huckleberry's American style on Clasketgate & Gabby's Greek Restaurant on High St. Superb!

"The perfect hotel close to the center"
The perfect location for our visit to Lincoln. Very welcoming and helpful.Although almost in the center of everything it was extremely calm and quiet. I think it would be difficult to find a better facility with this quality of amenities at the price!

"Very well placed for the castle and cathedral "
The hotel is adjacent to the cathedrall and near the castle in the older quarter of the city. It's split with the older part on top of a steep hill with the newer part at the bottom so wherever one stays there is a climb to either part. The hotel has been refurbished to its 3 star standard and provides car parking. The rooms are clean, warm with comfortable beds, though paying extra for a garden view when the garden was a piece of uneven grass is a bit annoying. The buffet breakfast is adequate with a fair choice of items. Excellent base for exploring the old part of the city with restaurants and shops within walking distance and a shuttle bus stop outside which runs down to the other part of town if taking the hill is a problem.

Lincolnshire is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Lincolnshire, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Lincolnshire hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
