"Great hotel in sketchy location"
Visit was part of my birthday trip - our most amazing Ireland hotel stay was here. We were upgrading to a luxurious suite, with a deep soaking bathtub and separate shower. After a meal in the hotel restaurant, we retired for a very comfortable and restful evening. Comfortable bed and bedding. I left something behind and the front desk staff (particular thanks to Mark and Chrystopher) went to great lengths to make sure it was waiting for me in when we got to Belfast. Thank you !!

"City visit"
There was a function on in the hotel the night I stayed. There was loud music until just after 00.30, which I Could hear in my room on the fifth floor. I did not have a good night's sleep as a result. Otherwise the hotel was OK, good leisure facilities and cental location.

"You know what you are getting with Travelodge"
Travelodge is a guaranteed standard, whichever of their hotels you stay at. This was no exception. We were in Limerick for a European Rugby match. We expected to spend most of out time in the town. We just needed somewhere to sleep. Its no frills accommodation but it was clean and comfortable. We slept well and were undisturbed by noise, either from outside or inside the building. The staff were helpful, especially when asked to arrange taxis to take us into the town. The taxi fare was about ten Euros into town, dependent on whereabouts we wanted to go. The taxi drivers were reliable and friendly and gave good information. We had planned to eat in Limerick but it was raining when we got up and so decided to have breakfast at the Diner at the Hotel. It was decent quality and good value.

"Good central hotel"
Mix up in reservation. Hotel said Expedial details not through. They then said there was no breakfast booked, which there was. So booking in was slow and frustrating. Room was very good. Clean and in good condition. Food was also good. Car park just around the corner and cost not In hotel rate. Booking out brought another problem as hotel tried to charge me because it didn't have a record of me paying Expedia All in all, a good place to stay despite Administration errors!

"Kilmurry Lodge, Limerick Ireland"
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and roomy. They don't have refrigerators or microwaves but going to Ireland I wasn't planning on making my own food, so that was fine. The breakfast was good for the few day we ate there but the food in the pub inside the hotel was outstanding.. Very casual and down to earth atmosphere. My family and I felt welcome and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

"A good base for exploring county Clare"
The hotel was very comfortable and well located, especially if you're hiring a car. Room was large and clean, and I appreciated the good quality of the complimentary toiletries! The spa was lovely, with a pool, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub. Unfortunately on the second night we went down there we found the pool full of screaming kids, even though the room brochure said 6-8pm was adults only. This meant we couldn't relax anywhere in the spa, and the receptionist later informed us that the times had been changed and children were actually allowed in until 7. Quite annoying that this hadn't been updated in our welcome pack! Another mistake that was printed in this guide was an early bird menu, however after enquiring at the restaurant they said they didn't do that anymore either. When we did eat in the restaurant (empty bar one other table as it was a Sunday night) we found the service really let the meal down- it took an extremely long time to get our orders taken and even longer for the wine to come (it arrived after we'd finished the starters- the waiter said he couldn't find a corkscrew??) The food was mixed, starters and desserts were very nice but my partner's rare steak came extremely over cooked, although in fairness they took the cost off our bill as a result. Overall it was a nice base for a short break in County Clare, but there just seem to be some failings in the management of the hotel/restaurant.

Limerick is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Limerick, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Limerick hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
