Cozy, comfortable hotel. Only Stairs available. Our room was located on the 3rd flight of stairs. Imagine luggage and children in tow. Other than that, pleasant hotel with working hot/cold water and AC units.

The hotel is right on the beach. If you get a standard room you will be facing a parking lot. We had a better room which was facing the Lava Lava Bar Restaurant. The restaurant is over priced. But then again all restaurants on the island are for the most part. The lady on the day shift at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. She always had a attitude, but we just smiled at her and let it go.

We only needed a room for one night in Lihue. It was small, tidy and quiet. The air conditioner worked well. Bathroom was clean and plenty of hot water. No shampoo, conditioner or hair dryer. Towels and bar soap were provided. Front desk help at the restaurant were accommodating and courteous. Overall, adequate accommodations for the price. I probably would not stay there for more than a couple of nights.

"The Eastern side of Kauai has amazing Sunrises. "
Loved the ocean front 1 bedroom unit. Sat on the lanai every morning with coffee and my camera and got some amazing pictures. There are colorful Roosters and chickens on the grassy area. There is a great paved walking/bike path right along the ocean. The pool and BBQ's are nice and clean. There is a laundry room that was $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry per load. There is NO air conditioning, but the fans and the ocean breezes kept the room temperature comfortable. We would stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone. It is a great quiet location and easy to get to the airport and all the Island beaches.

The best ocean view! nice employees! All renovated room with lots of taste! But... no glass provided! If you ask for, they will give you cartoon glasses to be nice with you. nice big fridge. We had to ask for a coffee machine not delivered on time because of the renovations.
If we had glasses , it would have been quite the summum to expect for what we paid.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Having laundry facilities in the facility was very handy as well. We at once at the poolside café. Food was nothing to write home about but everyone was very friendly and was nice talking to other people that were there. I had a death in the family while I was there, and hotel refunded all my nights there even though they would not have had to. Only downside is that it is off the beach a ways, though you have a great view of the ocean from the property. I would definitely stay here again

The gateway to Kauai, Lihue is home to the island's airport, cruise ship terminals, major businesses, and government offices. Here, culture fans can enjoy the artwork and historical artifacts at the Kauai Museum. The white sands of Kalapaki Beach attract locals and tourists alike.
