Internet down and staff could not function without it. Expedia bookings could not be checked in and staff refused to call expedia for info. Another guest stepped up and called. No breakfast like other redroof inns. Recent remodel so room was comfy.

Check in takes forever. Regardless of reservation status there is extra paperwork to complete. Staff could be nicer. Maid service is terrible. Really bad. They forget to leave necessities like Kleenex, TP, soap, and coffee. Table top and Tub/shower were not cleaned once the entire week we were there. Worst of all they leave the curtains open every time they are in the room even though we ask that they be closed. Everything we left in the room could be easily seen. The breakfasts are nasty.
On the positive side there is good TV reception, comfortable beds, and heating/cooling worked perfectly. Internet worked fine. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, major highways. This hotel accepts pets and offers both non-smoking and smoking rooms.

This motel was OK for a short 2 night stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint is there was no hair dryer, which most motels now supply. The motel was a bit difficult to find in daylight because the sign was small; much easier at night, Several good eating options nearby. The breakfast was a bit sparse as compared to continental breakfasts at other motels. Overall, I'd return if I find myself overnighting in Knoxville again.

Both downtown Knoxville and McGhee Tyson Airport are within 25 miles (40 km). Most shops and restaurants can be found along Broadway Street. Fort Loudoun Dam is nearby, and provides a reservoir suitable for all types of recreational activities. For an easy day trip, visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park, about a half hour away.
