Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were polite, friendly and efficient, and the room was comfortable, clean and attractively decorated. The hotel is situated close to the rail station, so travel to and from Schipol Airport in Amsterdam is very easy, and Leiden city centre is within 5 minutes walk.
The hotel has a good restaurant attached where a buffet style breakfast with decent choice is served every morning and the quality of the food during dinner was very enjoyable, although the menu is a little limited.

Great shower stay room. Wonderful and comfortable bed. Quiet and restful. This would be my choice in hotels wherever I could one.
Not for everyone: it's trendy and tech. Not staid and housebound in tradition. Just a comfortable place to lay your head.

"Excellent location near shops restaurants and bars"
Only one night but visited Mauritshuis for wonderful paintings Girl with Pearl Earring! Drank in nearby bars, shopped a bit and had wonderful food in hotel restaurant. We had sunny warm weather but this hotel did not need good weather it really caters for its guests across the board.

Booked originally for 2 nights in this hotel, but came back after a trip to Amsterdam for a night, for another nights stay! Our room was a good size and very comfortable - the balcony overlooked the road, but we were able to see the lift bridge!

This hotel is conveniently located outside the city center of The Hague, and would be a great place to stay if planning to visit the Hague, Delft, or even Rotterdam.
My wife and I arrived in the late evening after a long drive from Germany, and we were pleased to find the hotel restaurant still open. It was a nice place to relax and unwind, although the service was slow at first (understandable as the restaurant was preparing to close). However, the attention that our waiter and server showed us went above and beyond the call of duty, and it made our stay that much better!
The room was clean and spacious, and we both enjoyed the patio that came with the room. It was a nice way to start our morning!
I would recommend staying here for any trip to The Hague or Delft...definitely worth the drive into and out of the city center to stay at the Hotel Den Haag-Wassenaar!

The Leiden town center, one of the largest in the Netherlands, also boasts some of the most well-preserved specimens of Dutch architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries. Examples of its important museum heritage can be found throughout the city while strolling along the canals. Don't miss the Muurgedichten wall poems, 80 of which decorate the houses of Leiden.
