The hotel is a typical 3 star hotel (very clean, a bit on the older side). The pool was keep very clean even though the weather was too cool for swimming. The breakfast was OK with a variety of items, not hot but reasonably warm. The hotel location is in an industrial area but is a 10 minute drive to downtown Lakeland which is very lovely- nice restaurants, shopping and sights. The best part of the hotel is the staff. Every person was very friendly, helpful and friendly. We would stay there again

Room was very nice, breakfast good. TV didn't have many channels and had a hard time getting them. I decided to extend my stay one more night but then had to leave early to go home and when I asked if I could cancel out that extra day since I made it separately right at the hotel - they said no I would be charged. I really thought that was wrong as I asked 2 days in advance. So the only thing I found wrong with the hotel and Expedia is the no cancellation policy under any circumstances. Emergencies do come up.

Stayed later than planned in the area and needed a place to crash out for the evening, the hotel was centrally located and close by. It is an extended stay hotel so there were a number of camping chairs outside of rooms for people who are "living" there. It is located right off of one of the main streets near a lot of shopping, restaurants, etc. First room we got had an issue with the air conditioning not cooling but we were able to exchange for another room a couple of doors down. The room was decent, nothing super fancy. The main complaint was the bed which was far from comfortable and made a good amount of noise with any type of movement. Overall for the price not bad and the location is good.

A boom town during railroad construction in the late 1800s through to the 1920s, Lakeland in central Florida is still home to many significant buildings from that time period, many of which are on the National Register of Historical Places. During the 1930s, Frank Lloyd Wright designed Florida Southern College's campus. It is the largest one-site collection of Wright works in the world.
