The hotel staff was awesome, especially Tiana. The really only disappointing item about our room and it was a fairly biggie, was the very poorly operating shower. Very little water flow and difficult to operate. We are big shower people and like good water flow!
Great location and handy to FS.

My children and I had a very nice time at the Days Inn in Lakeland. My room seemed recently updated, clean, smelled good, with fairly comfortable beds and a new-ish television. The breakfast room was spacious and the food was spread out to avoid overcrowding. We came just as the school season started, so the hotel was very empty and we had the pool to ourselves. I tend to worry about the neighborhood when I pay this little for a hotel, but it was a very nice area, right next to a few other hotels and an Applebees.

Room was great. Really big with a large living area semi-separated from the sleeping area. Clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast was pretty standard for this style hotel. Overall a pleasant surprise for our first time in Lakeland.

You get what you pay for, this is not the Embassy Suites. That said, I was really surprised with the quality of the room and hotel in general. The front desk stall was always kind and a pleasure to talk with. In town for business, 3 nights.

I have stayed here several times due to the room quality for the price. There are 4 hotels right next to this one and the balance between room quality and price is excellent. Ask for an upper floor room facing the parking lot.
Breakfast area is too small and no egg choices except for some hard boiled eggs. The coffee is poor. Yes it is all free, but I stay at the other hotels around this one and they are much better.

A boom town during railroad construction in the late 1800s through to the 1920s, Lakeland in central Florida is still home to many significant buildings from that time period, many of which are on the National Register of Historical Places. During the 1930s, Frank Lloyd Wright designed Florida Southern College's campus. It is the largest one-site collection of Wright works in the world.
