The hotel is great. Rooms are big modern and clean, the view of the lake is fantastic , and the staff is excellent. It is however a bit of a walking and 15 min of public transport to go to Zurich so may not be the most convenient place to stay if you want to spend a lot of time in Zurich..

Had a a very comfortable short stay at this hotel next to the Lake.
From Zurich Airport, train number S2 literally stops opposite the hotel (Horgen Station).
Journey time approx 25 mins or so. There is also a ferry port next to the station.
The hotel was clean and staff friendly. We had a room on the 3rd floor with an amazing view of the lake.
The rooms were not that big but ok. Had all the facilities. Liked the water bar in the corridor with both still and sparkling water.
However, there was no mini fridge in the rooms and breakfast could have been better
for a 4* hotel.
Not much to do in Horgen, but here is a local supermarket and a small Thai restaurant just round the corner.
Overall, great hotel location with excellent transport links and breathtaking scenery.

The hotel was amazing, from our first welcome to our last goodbye. The staff at the hotel were incredibly accommodating, from silly questions to detailed recommendations for what to do and what to see and we couldn't fault them at all! The hotel itself was beautifully renovated and the rooms were spacious and exquisitely decorated. The facilities were plentiful and clean, the bathroom large and modern, and the bed most comfortable. The hotel has its own private garden right on the lake, which we made frequent use off, to both lie back and relax in, and to go for a swim into the lake from - fantastic!

Location, Location, Location - this is perfect!
The hotel is so easy to get to from Zurich and surrounding areas - you can take a direct train from Zurich Airport, it is 11 minutes from Zurich centre or you can take a very scenic boat ride of the lake to get to the hotel.
Hotel is fab, staff super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Luxury Toiletries and extras provided like fresh fruit in the room are the small touches that make the difference.
The restaurant does not open on Mondays and Tuesdays so unfortunately we only had the pleasure of experiencing it for one meal but what a meal it was. Again, the small touches provided throughout the meal make everything feel so special. The food was by far the best we had in Switzerland (and we had great!), authentic home cooking that would be at home in some of the best restaurants in the world! Even if you are not staying you must visit, delicious food whilst overlooking the stunning scenery of the Lake is a delightful combination.
It really does feel like you are staying as the only guest taken care of on every level. The Villa Family and Owners should be very proud of what they have and what they do.
Thank you for an amazing time and we can't wait to come back!

Extending southeast of the town of Zurich, Lake Zurich is a pristine lake that is popular among sunbathers, swimmers, and boaters in the summer. Passenger and auto ferry service is available from the towns of Horgen and Meilen.
