Fabulous location for year round activities on the slopes or the water. Plenty of Canadiana on offer in the multiple stores in the hotel. Friendly, personable staff throughout did their utmost to make our stay special. We traveled 8 long hours to get here for a 2 night stay but it was well worth it.

We have stayed at the Lake Louise Inn a few times now and have loved every visit. Lake Louise is beautiful and the Inn in charming. We love the shuttle service, food, gazebo and the STAFF ARE AMAZING! They truly make the stay incredible. I would highly recommend the Lake Louise Inn.

We loved being close to Lake Louise - the actual lake and not the village - but away from the Chateau and it's busy atmosphere. The Lodge is old and historic but our heritage room was comfortable with great views from the balcony.
Despite an initial problem with a non-English speaker at check-in the rest of the time the staff were really helpful and friendly.
We were able to hike right from the hotel which was great and were close enough to drive first thing in the morning to Morraine Lake.
The restaurant and bar are both good and the breakfast blueberry pancakes were memorable.

When the place advertised no running water or electricity, I was a bit worried, but given how all other area hotels were booked, I didn't have much of an option. It turned out to be a great experience. They have a kitchen with all the needed plates, pots, pans, utensils, etc. Plus, the Lake Louise hostel allows you to take showers there, which completely eliminated fears of staying there. I had great fun meeting other people during the stay, so would I go back? Absolutely!

Lovely little cabin, perfect if you want the peace and quiet of the "middle of nowhere". However although it is classed as Golden BC it is about 40k away from Golden down a lengthy bumpy logging road (easy to miss at night). Beautiful place but for our purpose on this trip (a stopover en route to Vancouver) it was a bit too off the beaten track.

The emerald-colored, world-famous Lake Louise sits on the Continental Divide and is surrounded by mountains on three sides. In the summer, as many as 10,000 visitors a day come to drink in this natural wonder. Popular warm-weather activities include canoeing and hiking. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice-skating, and horse-drawn sleigh rides are wintertime favorites.
