Have stayed at Kala Samui twice now and will stay again next year. The hotel is set on a cliff and build into the side of a granite boulder hill. The rooms are spacious and very clean and tidy with a huge deep soak bath. The hotel is a little way out of Chaweng and all the noise however; you can hire motorcycles from the hotel and ride (10 mins) into Chaweng and do some shopping or go to the beach bars. Unfortunately, there is no beach directly in front of the hotel but you can snorkel right in front of the hotel and there are soft corals and sea life to see without leaving the hotel. You do have free access to the kayaks and can paddle to a local swimming beach however, we booked the kayaks twice and unfortunately, they were out. Think it is more of a first in best dressed. The hotel manager Michelle was incredibly helpful and very accommodating when we needed information about the area and made us feel very welcome. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Excellent all round experience. Hydro pool rooms are so comfortable and made for just relaxing in the sunshine floating in your private pool.
The on site spa is incredible. 2h spa time just flew by, excellent therapist left me feeling fully rejuvenated and relaxed.

Our experience was a most pleasing one. After getting in quite late to the island, then realising the taxi from the airport was 1200 Baht, the pool villa we were allocated wasn't ideal. The next day we shared our concerns with the hotel staff who were upfront about options and we managed to move to a different villa where we completed our stay. I enjoyed the friendliness and respectfulness of the staff immensely. This resort does have brilliant wifi, you just pay a flat rate for it. The island is geared towards tourist attractions picking you up from the hotels as well, just be aware that you often get dropped back at your hotel last as this one is a long way out at the south side of the island. Great gym facility as well. The head chef makes a brilliant green curry by the way.

It was a nice hotel with a clean and beautiful pool , my room had a bug issue in the garden side but they immediately upgraded me to the pool side apartments which I highly recommend. Pay the extra buck and get pool side ,it's worth it

Small Laem Set Beach faces south and is known as one of the island’s best beaches. The water is shallow, calm, and inviting. From here, you are a short ride from three of Ko Samui’s Buddhist wats (monastery temple complexes): Wat Khunaram, Wat Samret, and Wat Laem Saw.
