Simply put, I wasn't expecting much based on some of the reviews and the nightly rates but I was pleasantly surprised. My room was small, more in line with a cruise ship cabin, but it was very clean and the bathroom looked newly renovated. It's a small hotel but does have it's own parking lot, which was nice. It is located in an Asian community so the staff is Asian but all speak English. Not the best neighborhood but I never felt unsafe or like it was dangerous, just run down. There are several eating places a 5 min walk away. I never could connect to the WiFi. The blackout drapes don't close completely so the light woke me up early. No continental breakfast or a gym because it is so small but I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night after returning from Europe before pushing on to our home. The staff was great, upgrading us to a HUGE suite and recommending eating options in the neighborhood. (Other than the hotel, Chinese is THE option in this neighborhood though it is possible to find other Asian dining options.) Lounge / restaurant staff was also very friendly. Only possible complaint was the noise level as it sounded like we were on top of a club. Given how tired we were from our flight, this really did not impact us but might others.
