When we first arrived we had to pay for our accomadation and what we didn't know was we had to put a $200.00 deposit down for the mini bar or if we signed for anything to our room, this is the first time ever I have had to do this in any hotel we've stayed in and I wasn't happy as I hadn't been told about it.
The bathrooms are very run down as we stayed in the older part of the hotel, they need to be updated as there is mold and rusting taps and the door was water damaged were the wood was spliting at the bottom of the door, it wasn't nice to have a shower after a long day shopping.
The hotel staff are wonderful and go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable, the happy hour at the swim up bar was awesome and the location of the hotel is great as you can walk to everywhere you want to go.
I would stay again at this hotel as it is in a great location and is a reasonable priced.

This hotel has super staff whose aim is to please.
We stayed here whilst travelling Thailand, Singapore and Bali.
The Kana has the most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever encountered... so much that I found a local stockist and bought some pillows.
The hotel is extremely clean and staff attended to our needs without question.
The food is lovely and reasonably priced.
Thank you Kana Team for making our stay in Bali a memorable one.

"Best staff which always takes us back to this hote"
Having stayed at this hotel more than 30 times over a thirty year period, we can find this hotel faultless other than a bit pricey. Should reduce price to encourage higher occupancy and would achieve the same profits

Global travelers arrive at nearby Ngurah Rai Airport and head to Kuta for bargain shopping, budget accommodations, and an active nightlife scene at the city's restaurants, bars, discos, and clubs. During the day, Kuta's white sand beaches offer ideal surfing conditions for novice surfers catching their first wave. Scooter rentals, known as ojeks, are a convenient way to explore Kuta and beyond.
